It's hard to face the need for these.It's a very scary thing to have your body fail in the most private and vulnerable ways. I'm not even 54 yet. I have diabetic neuropathy, and it's now reached my bladder and bowel- though not consistently, and not the same 'degree' all the time. In many ways I'm fortunate that it's not a 'total incontinence' (at least not yet) Nights are the worst with loss of bladder control, and these briefs are the best quality I've found. I still use one large booster pad, just for 'security'- but even side sleeping doesn't cause these briefs to leak. I still keep a reusable underpaid on the bed, but so far, there's been no problems with them getting wet. As far as soiling, it's been very light- sometimes at night, and occasionally during the day. I've rearranged some of the meds I'm on that cause softer stools, and can't take some of them if I have appointments, just to be sure I won't be in an embarrassing situation away from home.If I'm awake, I can get away with a pull-on undergarment (still use Abena, L3). But to have the sense of security that the bed isn't going to be trashed in the morning is worth the extra price for these. These do have the plastic backing- but the other Abena briefs with the more cloth like backing are also very good. I like the way the tapes stick better on the plastic, but the re-sticking of the other backing works better if someone needs to reattach them.5Solid Night Time ProtectionBeing 31 and a bedwetter is rough. So its important to me that I can keep some dignity. I can wear these diapers at night and know that I'm protected.I'd rate the capacity of the diapers as high...I usually wake up and have only used 3/4 of the total capacity. And rarely have I had any leaks.Being plastic backed means they do crinkle, and wearing just a pair of athletic shorts over them means its pretty obvious you're wearing a diaper. But I don't mind that because anybody who knows me well enough to spend the night around me knows I wear protection.And for daytime wear...these diapers do tend to swell up a bit and can be noticeable. I just wear pants a size larger for those rare occasions I have to wear during the day.Overall I would reccomend these diapers to anybody who needs the extra protection.4Don't change these!!These are simply the best for anyone who experiences bedwetting. They are definitely thick and not very concealable, but you usually do not need to conceal something you are only wearing overnight. Even if you are heavy wetter, they keep bedding dry. Can easily handle multiple voids. Odor control excellent.5If you are looking for a diaper. Not something to catch the occasional drip... these are what you're looking for.When you purchase the case (36diapers) they are a terrific bargain. Be advised: the box is will have printing on it and curious neighbors will know it is a box of diapers.These are terrific diapers. Plain and simple. Capacity is enormous. Super thick and soft. Double / Double tapes. Which are quite useful. The pattern printed on them is what it is.When paired with a booster like the Abri-let, they will hold a tremendous amount whilst keeping the wearer comfortable.Great for overnight (careful to get them snug about the legs) or for heavy wetters.If you're into ABDL, these are the least expensive option for that thick, waddle, crinkle experience.With the booster in them, you're forced to waddle quite a bit. Truly wonderful if you are into that sort of thing.5Best Non-designer diapers out there for needs @ medical or recreationalTruly an excellent diaper for any adult with the need to stay dry for any reason. My use is a split between medical and recreational and these are excellent from either perspective:medical - they hold a LOT; over three liters and have an excellent fit with righteous odor control... though a more obvious wetness indicator would be nicerecreational - these fill a gap between All White [pure medical] style of diapers and the INSANE expenses for full on decorated models... the Abena stripe from front to back is iconic and kinda cool, though i can't really express why... thick enough to be fun but no SO madly bulky that you can't walk when they are first upon you; after they are full of liquid [i don't mess], good luck walking since they weigh over 7lbs [at a guess... they are HEAVVVVY]]ONLY downside is that the tapes are only good for two applications and after that they WILL tear the material of the diaper... duct tape to the rescue.I love these and i've tried many brands avail in u.s.Enjoy these... you will... BUT remember that Pet Pads are always a wise insurance policy @ bed or chair.5Great product but...These are by far my favorite kind I have ever bought. They are comfy and fit nicely. My only problem is, if you're active, always bending over, or wanting to sleep in them, you have to buy some duck tape. They like to tear open where you place the tabs, so I usually take some tape and put it in between the tabs for a 3rd tape for extra durability. I wish it had a piece of plastic to reinforce the front, but that's in higher quality diapers, like AB/DL ones.3Best abdl diaper you can buyI love these diapers I would like to meet more people who like to wear diapers as I do5One of the best.I've wet the bed, sporadically, my whole life. When my bedwetting issues returned, full force, at age 30, I started searching out a good product to help protect my bedding. I've gone through a number of store brand, and national brand products, and find them to be insufficient. Eventually I started ordering premium diapers online, working my way up through absorbency.The Abena L4 is very absorbent. Near the top of the spectrum. They are also quite bulky (compared to less absorbent products), so these might not be a very discrete product, but I'm not worried about that. What I do care about, these actually keep my bed dry, with only the rarest exception, for the best price. I sleep face down, and often wake up with the diaper soaked from crotch to waist line, but not leaking.The fact that this product let's me (and resultantly my wife) sleep through the night, without incident, makes it worth the price, and the 5 star review. I recommend this as an overnight product, or heavy incontinence solution, to anybody with the need.5GREAT PRODUCTWe used these for my mom when she was declining; and now we use them for my dad who is on hospice. These hold a lot of urine before they ever leak, and my dad indicates they are not uncomfortable to wear, in spite of being rather thick. These give him confidence at night so he can sleep, since he was previously wearing a different product he was not confident in and waking up every 45 minutes worrying if he had peed the bed. Becoming ill and losing continence is so hard on a person emotionally, a product like this that works so well really helps them feel better about the situation, and less stressed.5Great Diaper @ Not so bad cost.This is an excellent night time Diaper. I am a heavy night time wetter and never have issues with these. They are plastic backed which I like better than cloth. These are quite thick and not very discreet so I would not wear during the day.5
