We love this Milk Replacement, even the cat likes it!I'm allergic to milk protein, milk has made me miserable for years, until someone finally though to test me for it after failing the trial on Lactaid! We started on Rice Milk, Soy Milk, then Almond Milk, liked all of them but each has its advantages & disadvantages. One month Amazon was out of stock on Almond Milk & local stores didn't carry it. Got a case of this plain & unsweetened, & we were hooked. Still use Almond or Soy for savory cooking, but this is great with cereal, fresh fruit, in smoothies, frozen bars, & baked goods. It's the most like drinking cow's milk, makes great coconut ice cream, & it works as a 1:1 substitute in baking. We love it & by the case it's a great deal. I switched to almond milk to cut down on carbs while my husband and I do keto, and this almond milk only has one carb so it fits our lifestyle perfectly. I tried Silk first, and find that Almond Breeze tastes better, more almond-y, if that makes sense. Not only does this work great for keto, our oldest son has type 1 diabetes, and this helps keep the number of carbs he eats down as well. Have already reordered several times, plan to do it a lot more.5Good almond milk but watch out who ships !Love Almond Breeze and the fact that these containers are easily stored in the pantry. I know people who freeze them, but keep in mind that the cartons only allow so much space for liquid expansion, so when frozen a carton will bulge out, so make sure you accommodate space for that (personally, I would not freeze). The big problem is what company ships these items. We were having no issues of shortage, or damage to the cartons ( we also order the Original Unsweetened) until we began to have this product shipped from Bottom Line L.L.C. Our last order we received 11 cartons instead of 12, plus 2 cartons had to be tossed due to damage (one carton was actually leaking). I last bought these in August, and of the 11 original cartons that arrived, then the 2 that had to be tossed for being damaged (thus meaning we only received 8 cartons instead of 12!), we have had to toss 5 more cartons. When finally opened some the almond milk inside smelled or looked a tad off (better to be safe than sorry!), even though the expiration date on the carton was months in advance.NOTE: We probably will not order our almond milk from Amazon anymore since it seems, this opinion is based from other orders, that who ships can change, and then we do not know about it until after the order has been placed. Something "new" that started a while ago and makes us wonder what is going on.4Heavenly Blue Diamond Treat...The coconut mixed with the almond is a better flavor to me than the plain almond. I tolerate the almond milk, but the mixture of the almond/coconut has won my vote. I have been trying to cut back on milk (and I LOVE milk), but this will be very helpful to me. I also sometimes add a drop or two of Stevia to it and it really makes it palatable to me. Everyone has unique tastes you might love it just plain. I sort of wondered IF I would be able to drink a package of 12 and when I opened the first carton I was very pleasantly surprised. I have a winner and will incorporate it into my daily food plans. I also love the fact that the whole carton is just 240 calorie; and to use it as a base to make dessert of any kind or drink it with a meal, or just plain for a snack is very filling and is a far cry lower in calories than milk. So for me personally it is a winner and I have no regrets in buying the Almond/Coconut. I have put PB2 Peanut butter/Chocolate powder and Torani Vanilla flavoring in 2 cups of Almond/Coconut milk with a couple of drops of Stevia and added ice and blended it and you have a huge (very filling) milk shake type drink that is low calorie and wonderful. The sky is the limit with all the different things you can do with this 60 calorie cup of heaven's special treat from Blue Diamond Almond Coconut Milk. :-)))5Almond MilkThe product is wonderful and I love it. It is difficult to find locally and expensive in the grocery store. It finally arrived today in a Walmart.com box. The individual boxes were loose in the box and every one was mashed. None appear to be punctured. I ll keep it since I might not receive any more if I don t due to the Covid-19 problems.5Perfect for use with my RSP Truefit meal replacement shakes and cheaper than Walmart!I use this to make my 2 meal replacement shakes every day (I use RSP TrueFit powder which is wonderful) and go through a lot of it. I did a price comparison and it was cheaper to order it in bulk through Amazon subscribe and save than to buy it at Walmart, so that's what I'm doing! I haven't noticed any difference in quality and I love having it delivered right to my door rather than having to buy it every week. I'm so glad I switched to unsweetened original almond milk for my shakes. It's better for you, lower calorie and has a lot more of what your body needs than milk and it tastes way better than water. I can definitely recommend!5LOVE LOVE LOVE the taste of this dairy-free chocolate milkUPDATE: Found a peanut protein powder I really like so now I make smoothies with Almond Breeze chocolate almond milk and peanut protein powder. I also add a banana and ice. YUM YUM YUM!Have been buying Blue Diamond almond milk chocolate for years. LOVE the flavor and the convenience of pre-made chocolate drink! Otherwise I'd have to mix up my own. I have lactose intolerance so can't do cow (or any animal) milk bc of the lactose. Use lactase tabs when necessary but so much more convenient to simply pour and drink! Love the rich chocolate taste!5Expiration Date Disposable DisappointmentI love this product but was sent with an expiration date within 3 weeks, and this is not the norm. There I was sent the oldest product off the shelf, and won t take that chance again. Listen one thing people love about the product is taste, thickness, and most definitely length of time before expiration. Don t send customers your oldest product, give it to people in need at a shelter, and send best product to potential long term customers ... However, the most recent order was a huge disappointment. 4 of the 12 cartons of almond milk were unusable - due to bloating. This was very surprising because this order was placed and delivered during cold weather. Unfortunately I did not notice the bloated cartons when I received the product, but only when I reached for my 3 carton did I notice it was bloated. I then examined the remaining cartons and found a total of 4 (out of 12) were bloat. Alas, it was too late to return the product as I had already consumed 2 (non-bloated) cartons of the almond milk.2Lactose intolerant people should love thisI took a major risk on this product. Growing up, I was lactose intolerant. It turned me against milk. I have been using protein supplements for years and always mixed them in water. People would always say, "Eww, water with a protein shake?" It's not that bad, people. I had noticed that I have been getting worse about snacking on sweet foods. I honestly don't like sweet foods. But I was eating M&Ms, Almond Joy, Mounds, cake and was worried that I was letting myself get too into sweet foods. So, my daughter, who isn't lactose intolerant, loves almond milk. I tried some of hers with one of my protein shakes. I even let the shake sit in the freezer to make kind of a chocolate protein milkshake. It was good! It also didn't hurt me. For those people who try to convince lactose intolerant people of "it won't hurt you", please, understand that we've had hard lives! You all eat your ice cream and we paid triple for some frozen yogurt. We were even scared to eat macaroni and cheese. Milk to a lactose intolerant person is like poison. No offense to Almond Breeze. I have now drank two entire cases of this. I even got creative (bad idea) and tried the coconut almond with my chocolate protein shake, it was okay, but the unsweetened Almond Breeze is perfect in my Naked Nutrition chocolate protein shake. Oh and by the way, keep it away from the teenagers. They have no courtesy. They will drink a whole container and not put another one in the fridge. Probably the best compliment possible was from my son who is 13, he said, "This milk is so good. It's my new favorite because I can drink the whole container." No clue that us parents pay for this stuff. Thinks I've got an almond cow outside. Seriously, really good product, I like the shelf-sustainability. We have a lot of food and drinks and everything else in the fridge, so I can just grab one and get it cold and make my 2 shakes for the day.5
