I have worn many braces and this is by far the best. Made well and designed for function.I have been wearing this brace all day for over 2 months now. It helps hold my worn out knee in proper alignment so I can work on my physical conditioning before surgery. Because I have large calf muscles, I had to modify the bottom of the inside hinge. I removed it from the brace thru the provided opening and used a heat gun to soften it so I could bend it out to match the contour of my leg. I am so impressed with the design and function of this brace that I just ordered another so it will make it easier to wash one while wearing the other. 5Poor sizing, doesn't stay in place, not at all comfortable, doesn't do it's job.This brace is not for legs that have a disparate proportion between above/below the knee. The straps are cheap velcro that don't stay in place since this is lacking any loop or guide the rest of the leg. The straps slide all over the place no matter how finicky you are in securing them. In fact, I cut myself on the straps more than once while trying to use this over the course of a week. I ordered the 6XL after taking measurements and the top flap doesn't close. There's a 4" gap. If I stretch it to fit, then the brace just slides down my leg. Save yourself the frustration and go for something else. 1Measured exactly but it's Too smallDelivered quicker than expected. I measured it exactly how it instructed on the site but when it arrived it was way to small. I was really counting on it getting here to support my bad knee. A return label was included so I will send it back and see how the exchange process works out 2The more I walk, the more it slips.I have had trouble with my knee for years due to miniscus pain and arthritis but I can t afford surgery so I thought a knee brace would help stabilize the knee and minimize the pain. Since purchasing and trying out this knee brace I have found that I need something to stabilize the knee brace and minimize my financial loss. I thought the knee brace had a good price and it is quality workmanship and materials but it slips down about 1/8 to 1/4 at a time as I am walking around, even though I have it cinched comfortably tight around my knee. I keep having to tug it back into place every 15 minutes, making it very uncomfortable and frustrating. I measured exactly as specified and received the right one but it still slips. It is very aggravating and I would rather put up with the pain but my family nixed that idea, saying that they prefer that the four- letter words stay under my tongue. I wouldn t buy this again. 1Exactly what I was looking forI was very pleased at how quickly the order arrived. The brace is very well constructed and well worth the price. Note: This brace is generously sized, so if your measurements are on the border between two sizes, I'd recommend sizing down. I do think I could probably use the next size down & may exchange it just for size. However, I have only had the opportunity to wear it once, but it seems to do exactly what I want it to, and that is to keep my knee stable. I felt much more confident walking. I wish I had gotten this brace much sooner. 4I am so pleased. When I was in junior highI wasn't expecting to receive my brace until sometime next week, imagine my surprise when I got it today! I am so pleased. When I was in junior high, I hyper-extended my knee and in addition to tearing some things, I knocked off a hunk of my thigh bone, and it was stuck behind my kneecap, grinding into my bones. After healing, I used a similar brace to continue playing sports and to wear whenever I was feeling pained. It has long since disintegrated and I never replaced it. Last week, I had an issue with my knee that resulted with me having to go into urgent care for the pain. I requested a new brace, and they only sent me home with an ace bandage. Which, hello, does not do the work whatsoever. Just strapped this baby on, and it is PERFECT! It is doing exactly what I wanted. As a plus sized person, it is difficult to find anything that fits right. So glad I came upon this! 5measurements come up shortGot a 6 x after reading reviews. It's still too small. Supposed to fit 23 to 25 inches 3 inches above knee. The brace itself is only 25 and a half inches with 2 inches of velcro. Someone's math is way off. Bottom of brace fits. Not so much for the top. Plus, unless you really tighten the upper strap, even though the ends of the brace don't meet, it just slides right down your leg. Been messing with this all day and am totally frustrated. The 2 inches of velcro is included in the 25 and half inch length. 1Runs very small good qualityI like the design however, according to size chart and my measurements, I would have needed to order a XL. I ordered a 3XL after reading other reviews. Was still small. I would have to reorder 4XL which is 3 sizes larger than size chart shows for my measurements. You cannot go by the shown size charts at all. They were very nice to accept return and delivered faster than expected. If sized correctly, would give 5 stars. 3A Lifesaver!This brace was a welcome find! It is very difficult to find braces to fit my large leg. I didn't have any problems with slippage at all, and I wore the brace every day for 8 hours for 5 months. However, there is a top and bottom to the product. The wider end goes above the knee while the slimmer end goes below the knee. I make sure to either stand to adjust the straps or make sure my leg is straight out, and I tighten the lower strap very tight before tightening the upper strap. Others have complained of it slipping, but I never had any problem (except the time I put it on upside down). 5EXCELLENT!! It was definitely a fantastic value compared ...The short...340lbs, tweaked my knee. Wife bought a name brand $70 2XL brace at Dick s. Returned it the next day because it was too tight. I ordered the BraceAbility 5xl and it arrived quickly and was EXACTLY what I needed. Open design let s you position it on your knee. Straps, materials, overall quality...EXCELLENT!! It was definitely a fantastic value compared to what was available at the sporting goods store...and it FIT!! Good stuff! 5
