I am very happy with this product and will definitely continue using itI was given some of this powder by a friend who had had cancer and who used this with green tea, graviola and ascorbal palmitate to get rid of his cancer. He had a bit left over, so gave it to me to help my cancer, which I'd had repeatedly before that. I have now been taking this, along with doing some other treatments and for the first time in nearly a year, I don't have cancer. I do believe this L-Lysine HCL has helped a lot. Also, I used to get cold sores and after using this L-Lysine HCL powder, I never get them anymore. At one point, I was away for a few days without my L-Lysine and sure enough, got a cold sore. As soon as I got home, I took some and a day or two later, the cold sore disappeared and I haven't had any others. (This is just with taking 1/4 tsp/day in juice.) Needless to say, I am very happy with this product and will definitely continue using it. 5Excellent for cats, strays, feral and stressed cats.We use this product for a colony of feral cats. It boosts their immune system and helps prevent URI (upper respiratory infections) and other aliments that feral, stray and/or stressed cats suffer from. It works great, just sprinkle it on their food twice a day and it keeps our feral and stray furry friends healthy year round. You can also add it to your cats water as it is tasteless and cats will lap it up. And remember to spay and neuter feral cats to prevent them from reproducing more unwanted cats! 5This stuff is awesome!!!!!I have been using this product for two years now, and it has saved the lives of several of my alley cats that are afflicted with severe feline herpes. I use about 1Kg a month, and add it to their food and water daily. I also have had canker sores most of my life until I started taking lycine too. The powder mixes very well with water and juice, and is almost tasteless. I don't take it daily, but if I feel a canker sore coming on, I will drink a couple glasses of juice with a teaspoon of this lycine mixed in, and next day the canker is gone. I also use other bulk supplement products, like wheatberry (gogi berry), and ginko biloba. Those are excellent too.Lycine, prevents viruses from shedding, which is how they reproduce. So, it's great to use if you have the flu, too. I started to use it in winter whenever I felt anything coming on, and have stayed well, and cold/flu free for two winters now. 5Pure product at a fair price.I'm taking this product on the advice of Dr. Marcus Gitterle's book, Growing Young: A Doctor's Guide to the New Anti-Aging. I had a shingles out break about 2 1/2 years ago and had read that L- Lysine is very effective against the virus that causes shingles. I did not take the shingles vaccine or the flu vaccine. I also feel confident of the protection I'm getting from the other viruses out there (there's lots). I notice no side effects with Lysine. I can take it with or without food. It does not upset my stomach, ever. It's this best stuff! 5Sleep Cure?Wow, I took L-Lysine HCL Powder as a nutritional supplement and it cured my sleep issues! I have to wake up a lot these days at night to use the bathroom and tried lysine as a nutritional supplement and to my shock it cured my sleep issues. Yes I still wake up but only once a night and I pee like a 18 year old again. What the heck? I tried this twice now and both times it worked. I know too much of this stuff can create kidney issues but I have read that low doses of 1/4 a teaspoon is safe. I am still in shock that this worked. I will do a follow-up after a couple weeks. It mixes easily in a smoothie, as well as the Kozy Shack tapioca pudding I like so well. I recently had a respiratory infection that triggered Pityriasis Rosea (PR), a viral rash. The medical field knows little about PR, other than it is viral (non-communicable), and goes away on it's own normally in 6-12 weeks (but can last much longer-years). They THINK it may be associated with the chicken-pox virus.
