Great for plantar plate tearI have a slight plantar plate tear, which causes my 2nd and 3rd toes to separate. I purchased the big toe sized sleeve to put around my 2nd and 3rd toes to keep them together when I place weight on my foot. The Velcro bandages I had been using slip off and wear out very quickly. These toe sleeves are perfect! I can cut the exact length I need. It is VERY comfortable and stays in place. I love the gel lining! I just got done with a 17 mile mountain peak hike, and the toe sleeve stayed in place with no rubbing or discomfort. Awesome product!5It Works!My doctor recommended gel pads for my big toes. I selected these gel pads because I could cut the length to fit my purpose. My toes rub together and form sores. The sores are now healed after wearing gel pads. I use Bag Balm ointment before putting on the gel pads. The package was an excellentn value.5Chirplax toe tube sleeves solved my painful toe problemAfter surgery on my second toe and I have hammer toes and the constant rubbing from the other toes with each step I took well my toe would not heal. I cut these to size and as I stretch it I slip it on my poor little toe. The little slip-on really does protect my toe and keeps the swelling down. Awesome simple answer. I thought the silicone would sweat or something but not an issue. I come home and slip it off and my toe is finally healing. When you re older it seems surgeries on the foot take a long time to heal and I do not have diabetes. I m glad I don t have to keep buying bandages and wraps.5Protects my mutant toes.I have mutant toes....my second toe being longer than my big toe. On my right foot in particular this can be problematic when my toe rubs up against shoes and can get blisters. These are great. My orthopedic surgeon originally gave me a small piece like this to use and I had to search a little to find the same thing. I can cut them to fit and this supply will last a good long time.5WORK WELL BUT USE CAUTIONWhile they work wonderfully, you have to be sure to change daily or wash daily as the inner silicone can cause toe to sweat and cause athletes foot. I have never in my life had athletes foot. I do not go barefoot ever, I do not go to gyms, etc. I am miserable and finally figured out the cause as the first toe that started to itch was the one with the Toe Sleeve. I should have known better, but again, I have never experienced the awful effects of athletes foot. Use them but be careful !!!!!!!!2So ComfortableThese do the job!! I bought these after not liking what my Podiatrist wanted me to buy (she wanted something very clunky and heavy). My toe and foot has been suffering with pain for many months. After putting one of the sleeves on my toe, I could feel relief. I wore it all day, then took it off before going to bed. I slept great because the constant pain that was there every day and night (with spasms at times) was now MUCH less! I put it on again the next day, and I plan to do so from now on to better manage my pain. It took some trial and error to get the sleeve the right length, but it is not hard. Good Luck!5Great relief for sore toes.TERRIFIC for toes that rub in shoes. My problem was with steel toe work shoes, and after using these....no more rub or pain. These are quite expensive vs the foam versions sold in stores, BUT these will last much longer. They will not stretch out or tear after one use, and can be washed/reused.5Works wellMy finger has been swelling from an injury and the doctor gave me a couple gel lined finger sleeves to help reduce the swelling. Later, I found these long tubes on Amazon that can easily be cut to the length I need. I usually wear x-large gloves and needed the large sized for the proper pressure to reduce the swelling in my ring finger.5Fantastic Item! I can't tell you how many packs ...Fantastic Item! I can't tell you how many packs of those donut hole toe pads I've gone through which were not only expensive but don't stay in place all that well. These not only stay in place but are comfortable to wear and completely protect the soft corn I have on the inside of my little toe. Some reviews complained they were too tight which is kinda surprising considering these stretch so maybe on a big toe they don't work as well but on a little toe (my little toe at least) they are the aforementioned fantastic. As far as a sizing reference - I bought a size medium and I wear an 11 1/2 shoe. Last thing, the cost - one pack will probably last me a year. I bought my pack a month ago and I've only cut off 3 sleeves so far and that's wearing them every day all day so I figure the pack will probably last a year. That's $10 oppose to more than $50 over the course of a year for the donut hole pads.5Happy CustomerThese tubes are fabulous and the price is fantastic. While I paid the same price, I received 5 long tubes compared to 3 short tubes from a different brand that I used previously. The quality was very satisfactory and the pouch came in handy as well.
