Universal applicationsTo begin at the beginning: I bought a set of these in dec. of 2018. It is now march of 2020(you do the math). These are still in use, have had no problems with them at all. I have read some reviews that ding on "not fitting my walker" to that I can only say "READ THE INSTRUCTIONS".. These have extra parts that make them fit a wide range of walkers. These extra parts are shipped already installed, per the instructions some parts will need to be removed/not used depending on each walker. SAME as for the wheels on the outside or the inside "READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!" installs either way. OK: I like e'm I am an RN. I SEE a lot of walkers, and kits!! These work. I also like the added skids. Works well on carpets. Bought for my 80 year old Mom. Doubt I would need to buy again, BUT would if need!!. Happy with purchase.5Unversal kit worked perfectly with Invacare model 6291 DHAI was pleasantly surprised by the unexpectedly prompt delivery.Even more pleasing is the quality of the items.This kit was a real upgrade for an old loaner walker. Upgraded wheels and glides make it like new. I suspect it is even better than new.Thank you for making this product available and affordable. I will be proud to return the old walker to the Lion's Club in better condition than I received it.5Very helpful on my walkerI broke my leg and now have a hardware store in there so I needed a walker once I could actually start walking. The one I had didn't have wheels, and this kit made it much more user-friendly. I'm still using it after a couple of months, and the wheels are still working just fine. I'm happy with it.585") tube like on the old style walkersThe dimensions are not right. These skis were to fit 7/8" OD tubes, but of you have a heavier gauge (.85") tube like on the old style walkers, they won't insert into the tube. Beware these do not come with the buttons. My old walker has large plastic buttons and they won't fit into the holes on the wheel tubes. I'm debating sending these back or drilling out the adjustment holes. Will need to check other brands.Update. I drilled out the holes on the new set to fit the old buttons. Not much word and they are fitting ok. The quality of the wheels is very good.3Good Upgrade for Gma's walkerWe decided to pimp my Grandma's walker out with a set of these big ol' "offroad" tires. as well as a set of skiis for the back so she can hit the slopes and glide in style.In all seriousness the wheels that came with walker originally just weren't cutting it for my Grandma. Her physical therapist at the time recommended we look into a bigger wheel as well as change out the back rubber stops for skii style ones. It definately helped her easily transition from tile to carpet without hangups or issues and allows her to move a little easier without resistance from the ground. Very convinent to find both the wheels and skiis in once package. Purchased these 2years ago and are still going strong after 2 different walkers!5A Great Addition to Basic WalkersI upgraded my mother's old walker for my own use. It was very basic and without wheels. This Deluxe Universal Walker Wheel Kit was everything they said it would be. The wheels were easy to put on. They roll easily on carpet or tile flooring, and the sliders for the back enable me to walk without lifting the walker at all. Since I no longer have to lift the walker as I walk, I was able to add a pocket to carry small items in without worrying about the extra weight..4Being a Prime Member has its awardsItem was just what I hoped it would be and I received it in 1 dayGreat fit on the walker / Well built / Easy installation / Very satisfied5Work great on an Invacare 6921.Bought these for an Invacare 6291 and they work great. The only thing I noticed is that the instructions said to mount them with the wheels on the outside but the spring loaded buttons wouldn't pop all the way out of the holes to keep them locked in place. I turned them with the wheels on the inside like the original wheels were and the buttons popped all the way out like they are supposed to. So I guess that since they are universal and supposed to fit more than one brand the holes on are a different diameter on each side to accommodate the different brands.54-Wheeled WalkerI love these wheels only wish I got them sooner. I have a 4-wheeled walker now and I love it5Not as well made as original walker wheels - cheap substituteWhen I 1st received these I was pretty happy with them, not so much after 2 to 3 weeks. The wheels wobble now and walker doesn't track straight any more.went back to original wheels and they track fine. So cheap substitute isn't measly as good a quality.2
