A quiet, lightweight cane that suits my needs.I have Neurofibromatosis, so my balance is shot and I need help stabilizing myself when I walk. When my old cane started to get "shaky" and the handle got started falling apart, I took to amazon to look for something new. I bounced back and forth between several canes, and spent hours deliberating. I finally chose this one. It arrived earlier than I expected, and was already in one piece. I could not get over how much lighter this cane was than what I had been using. I'm about 6 feet tall, and this cane was plenty tall, it even had three more holes where it could go higher. It was easy to adjust to my height, and the locking mechanism was secure; no rattles or shaky bottom piece.The handle is a soft foam and has a strap that can go around your wrist. The tip it came with was great, and provided great traction. It was easy to take off to replace with the quad tip we bought for added stability. The designs are gorgeous. In most of the places, it was hard to even find an obvious seam. It did come with a sticker on the front that is a little tough to get off, but I've yet to own a cane that didn't have the nightmare glue/sticker situation.I'm about 130 pounds, but I use the cane more for stabilizing myself then putting weight on it, so I can't speak for it in that regard. I was a little nervous about buying the "cheaper" cane out of the ones I was debating about, but I am incredibly satisfied with this cane. It does exactly what I need, while looking great, and being lightweight.5Nice lookBeing a "younger" person needing an occasional cane, I like the metal, burl-like look of this one. I'd had a cane once before, but without a wrist strap. The strap is very important when needing to get into your purse, carry something else, etc. and being able to hold your cane on your wrist instead of trying to balance it some other way without it dropping to the ground. Easy to press buttons to change height and rubberized handle for good grip.5Great valueThis cane was not only functional, it was beautiful. Everyone wanted to know where I found a designer cane! It is lightweight and balanced. As a matter of fact, I can actually twirl it! I rarely need it now but I sometimes just stand in the middle if the kitchen & pretend I m twirling a baton again! Try to look for blessings in everything. 5Didn't Get What I Paid ForMy cane wasn't spotted! It was dark boring blue greenish color something I would never buy. And it didn't have a strap. These offset canes are at a great price-point, have a variety of colors to match most every personality, and they are comfortable. They are adjustable for your height and made of super light aluminum. The grip material is thick and the cane is solid enough to hold a lot of weight. All the canes's i came across we're not short enough.Iam happy found this because I really needed it as I am recovering from a knee replacement. I am 5foot .5THIS CANE IS PERFECTThe entire front of my right leg (thigh to toes) was scalded on January 11, 2019 when a stock pot of boiling water fell off the stove after I (stupidly) used cloth potholders to move it.The 2nd degree burns happened 9 days before I was scheduled to fly from NJ to Cape Town, South Africa for a two-week vacation.Two doctors told me not to go; one had 3 nurses assist with the initial dressings because the burns were so extensive.I ordered this cane and was so confident that it would help with mobility that I went on the trip.When adjusted down to its lowest height, the cane didn't fit into my checked bag or the carry on duffel. Good thing, because I needed it at the airports and on board two long flights.The use of a cane was questioned by security officers in Newark and Dubai who wanted to SEE all the bandages on my leg.Newark was the most offensive and suspicious, Dubai was the most curious.The cane adjusts for my 5' 9" height The ergonomic design is perfect, and the metal is silent when walking. The cushioned handle with its wrist strap is comfortable, and doesn't irritate the hand.In Cape Town, the rubber tip of the cane helped me across cobblestones, cement paths, gravel parking lots, boat ramps, handicapped ramps, and dirt paths in a bird and monkey sanctuary. The tip looks brand new.Even if you don't need a cane, it might be a good idea to order one to have it handy for an emergency. I'm lucky that I ordered this adjustable DMI one because it helped me enormously.5the design looks great. The fact that it is adjustable has been really important because my artificial hip actually restored by leg to its original length. Since I started using the cane before my surgery, I needed to adjust the length after surgery. In addition, the design looks great. I receive compliments every time I use the cane.5Finish was disappointingCane itself is fine and sturdy. However, within the first few weeks the finish flaked in areas that had been hit or even slightly tangled with a chair or other items. It is still useable, of course, but it does take away from the overall look.3Stunning colors and very friendly for shorter peopleBought this for my mother who is 4'11" and this works perfectly for her height! The colors are stunning! When I use a cane I would love this one too... hopefully that will never be. She loves the handle and wristband for it so she can keep it around her wrist so she doesn't drop it. It is also louder colors so she won't lose it. This is a gorgeous floral for any age (I'm 27). My mother is also plus sized and she feels confident in this. tons of compliments while traveling! this is a sure buy again!5
