very good neutral gel inserts!!many inserts are shaped and have arch supports which can hurt your feet if your feet slid or move around a little inside the shoe. these inserts just cushion and are very neutral, or flat. they let the shoe support the foot and just add a layer of very effective cushioning. These are rapidly becoming my favorite inserts. in a good cushioned running shoe, these inserts are very comfortable !! 5Falls apart after moderate useI put these in a pair of boots and the gel literally disintegrated from walking, leaving plastic shavings in my boot and forming hard clumps in the gel. Product is also a pain and makes you cut the material into your foot shape. Honestly it's a terrible product and I should have asked for a refund. If you're cooking for a good shoe insert go with Sof Sole Athlete Neutral Arch Comfort Insole. I've bought three for my three boots I own and am happy with their performance. 1Trash - Which is where these are headedIf the product label said "Will slide around in your boot until its bunched up in your toe while your heel steps uncomfortably on the edge of the insole" this would be a five-star review, because the product would be delivering what it promised. Instead, I was given very explicit and direct instructions on trimming and placement in my boot after removing the old insole, and I'm treated to an even more painful experience than that which I sought to correct by buying these.If I could get a refund for these used pieces of silicone, cloth, and pain, it would be worth shipping it back to them so they can open the box and take a whiff of my frustration.I'm not happy about this experience at all. They claim to fit men's sizes 8 - 14, but they are plenty big enough for my size 15 feet. Men with smaller shoe size can easily trim the size to fit their feet - there are even shoe size cutting guide lines printed on the insoles to make them easy to trim. Dr. Scholl's insoles and orthotics are well-designed to ease foot pain. I have used them for years, but this is my first time trying Gel insoles, which seem far more beneficial than the old foam inserts. 5Incredibly uncomfortable!I put these in a pair of Cole Haan dress shoes. At the ball of my right foot, just below my big toe, where the bone joint is, there's a this random dip-down concave part of the insole, which makes my shoes so uncomfortable to wear. What a waste of money. I wish I didn't throw out the original insoles to my shoes. 1This new design failed after a week.I have used these gel insoles for a long time and never had any problems before now. When I ordered these I didn't think anything about it or looking at the pictures. Now at the heel area of the insole there is an egg shaped window that you can see the gel thru from the top. This is where it failed. The gel under this window broke off from itself and clumped together under my heel causing discomfort. I have emailed Dr Scholl's about this issue and still haven't heard anything back. This was almost a week ago now. I will update when or if I hear anything back from them. 1The best for sore feet and aching heelsAs you get older you start to feel pain doing things that normally don't make you flinch... I used to stand up for 6-8 hours on work days, but no more as my feet and heels ache after an hour or so... I would advise this for those who want added comfort or have aching feet or heels... TRUST ME it is money well spent 5Comfortable, easy to insert, great pain reliefI bought these at the recommendation of my physical therapist to help alleviate heel pain and tendinitis. I never thought much about shoe inserts but they really make a difference. The inserts that come with any sneaker are about useless apparently. They're flat with little cushion. These gel inserts are amazing. It's a subtle difference but a noticeable one.I have two pairs with one in my "outdoor" shoes that get wet from washing the car, outdoor cleaning, etc. They are durable and aren't any worse for wear after being completely soaked and dried again. I'll be buying more for each new pair of shoes I get in the future. 5Great for those with foot painSo I was very skeptical about all the commercials and ads for this product. Finally, after suffering some serious foot pain with my shoes last week after going on a trip, I decided to buy a pair. The instructions are pretty clear so you just have to have a good pair of sharp scissors. Took the old soles out, used them as a guide, then cut these. Slipped them in and tried them on and I definitely notice a huge difference. After a couple of days my foot pain went away. I then bought a second pair for another pair of shoes I had that I had thrown out the soles. I went off guessing on that one, but they turned out well too. 5
