Made for athletes, Great for casual wear.I absolutely love these insoles. After having mixed feelings with the regular Dr School's insoles I decided to try these Athletic Series. My reason for this was more an understanding of physics. Runners receive about four times the force per weight as a stationary object. To understand this better, a 150 pound human is putting upwards of 600 pounds weight on their joints every time they land while jumping or less during a stride running. So, my theory was, if it's made for the pounding an athlete dishes out, it's a god sent for normal activities. The pounding your body takes will eventually catch up with you. So, why not delay the inevitable if you can.I'm 60 years old and my legs feel the age. I work 12 hour shifts and these insoles have turned a gruesome day into a tolerable day. I currently have 4 pairs of these insoles that are in my routinely worn shoes, as well as the original pair in my work shoes. They show no signs of failure and are just as comfortable as when new. 5GREAT GIVEI replaced the liners in my running shoes with these for extra protection. I was weirded out by the material in these insoles until I used them. It feels like you're walking on rubber flooring material frequently used on a playground or at a splash-style playground. The latter has fountains shooting out of the ground. I do believe it has helped because when I get home at night after a 10-hour shift, the bottoms of my feet don't feel swollen. 5I m a runner. Have been for a while. ...I m a runner. Have been for a while. On average my runs are 4-5 miles at a time. I didn t realize I had a problem, until recently and decided to buy a shoe that had support . Of course it was not satisfactory and so I purchased these. They are a little thick, so if your shoe isn t deep enough it could make the run uncomfortable. However, these provide unbelievable support and now I run with no problems or concerns as to my foots slant. 5Your legs will thank youTakes a bit getting used to (you might feel discomfort in your feet while breaking these in), but this helped me with the pain I'd get in my shins from poor support. I bought these right before E3 and they saved my legs. I was able to go through the convention constantly on my feet and I felt absolutely no pain. There was no need to sit down and rest my feet, I was able to truck along through long lines and meet and greets without feeling like my legs were going to break into pieces.Honestly, I cannot recall the last time I've been able to do that. For once I was able to actually enjoy my trip! 5Inexspensive and it actually works!I just peeled out the original inserts in my shoes and slipped these right in and I didn't even have to trim them bc I guess I have big ladyfeet. I noticed a difference on the first use. I didn't get shin splints while jogging so now I can just focus on going farther. I am thankful I tried these first before buying new shoes. Thank you so much for providing an afforadable relief option for runners!!! 5Excellent arch support, adequately placed cushioned areas at a great price.Every time I need new insoles, I try a bunch of brands, including the famous Superfeet Green, but I keep coming back to these from Dr. Scholl's. They have changed a bit with time (slightly modified name, colors, etc), but the basics are there: excellent arch support, nice heel cushion and adequately placed front foot cushion. The fact that they can be cut to size is a huge advantage. Also, the rubberized bottom surface prevent hem from sliding inside your shoes. No complaints so far, and I've used them for years. 5Cheap fix, but not a perfect run insert for meI bought a pair of Nike cross trainers at a Plato s Closet while on a business trip because I forgot my running shoes. The Nikes were terrible to run in, they had practically zero arch support and no heel cushion. Took out the insoles and threw these in and they helped a lot, but still don t quite compare to the running shoes I was fitted for in the local run shop. That being said, the Nikes are now better suited for those cross training days with these inserts. Give them a shot it s a cheap fix before giving up on a pair of shoes. 5Easy to Trim, Lightweight, Noticeable SupportI walk... alot. After some stress foot issues involving swelling and bruising, my podiatrist recommended new shoes...I got the style and fit he recommended but still had some issues. So, I purchased these insoles. I chose the running ones because they seem like they provide the most overall support. They were easy to trim to fit my shoes. I noticed support right away. The insoles noticeably give support to certain areas of the foot that were previously unsupported which... can take a bit to get used to. They did make my shoes fit more snuggly but this was an advantage to me because I wear a size that was just a tad too loose. Very happy with them so far. Will most likely be purchasing more of these insoles for more pairs of shoes. 4Happy Feet!I Plantar fasciitis, a result from years of running, and need to keep my arches supported. This does it! My son has flat feet and I buy these for him and it helps keep his feet in good shape too. We've used $40 versions and have found no difference from these. 5Excellent support for runnersI have this item on my Subscribe and Save. I ve been using it for years as it helps cushion my heavy feet. Since I run about 100 miles a month or more when I m training for a marathon, these have helped curb my plantar fasciitis and shin splints. 5
