Taste is bad, can't returnWhy buy this when you take a chance on that much money and it tastes bad? Don't waste your money, buy somewhere else. Not fresh and now I have a ton of ginger that I won't eat. I eat fresh ginger all the time for years. This is not a fresh product. Save your cash. Yuck1Good for the priceI purchased the 5lb package of ginger. The shipment arrived perfectly packaged - no tears, no rips, no busted bag, and literally a 2-day shipment. As for the ginger itself, it's not overly sugared. I'm not having to rub the sugar off as other brands had over done it with sugar. The ginger has that nice kick and still sweet enough to not burn your mouth. Some pieces were too dry, it was like ginger-jerky. It seems like it's a 50/50 with nice plumpy pieces that explode with flavor in my mouth and others that are so dry I have to spit it out. For 5lbs it's priced fairly, I would have preferred another brand, but I'm not paying $70 for 5lbs of ginger. Thank you for a good product.4Just OK.The second package of figs from this seller is OK, but hasn't been quite as good as the first package. A number of the figs are dark brown and nearly rotted and some others have been sour. Nearly 1/3 have been questionable. I was surprised, since the first package I purchased was nearly 90% edible, quite tasty, figs. The problem may lie with the supplier or the time of the year, but, still, it is disappointing.3Order shipments not same qualityThe first order came in a 5-lb bag and was thick cut, few scraps and a light yellow color. The next order came from a different seller and it was in 2, 2-1/2 lb bags and was thinner, lots of scrap pieces and a darker orange-yellow color. The third order I made sure to go with the Delish brand and was disappointed it was as the second order. They assured me it was from the same supplier - so maybe they need to check what is being sent under their brand. From the shipments , it appears both sellers may be using the same supplier to process orders. Very reluctant to order again not knowing what I will receive.4Tastes like sweetened chemicalsStop and learn what you may be buying. These are heavily sugared. No mango flavor, none. Strong chemical taste. Totally inedible to my family. (Spit out by 11 people ar a party! No one ate any) I sent a message to the company and they told me it was too late to return them but I could send it back at my expense, then they would decide if a refund was possible. Seriously?! Any way the color was nice.1DO NOT WASTE YOUR $ UNLESS YOU ENJOY EATING SHOE LEATHERToo tough to chew. My daughters and I have tried and tried to eat these. When we finally gnaw off a piece, there is hardly a hint of flavor. It would be difficult to discern the flavor if we didn t know what it is supposed to be. This is my first review of a product I would not recommend.UPDATE: As I was about to throw these away, my daughter jokingly said that these pears were made for someone who likes to chew like our 1 year old bulldog (Violet). I thought that seemed like a great idea! I gave one to Violet and she loved it! Plus I can use them for weight management treating.1Tasty product in a large 5lb size; definitely a good deal on sliced, candied ginger.Love the hot,peppery,sugary taste of crystallized ginger and it was getting expensive to buy the little 12 oz pkg at the grocery stores. The product arrived quickly and in good shape - however the taste is slightly different than what I was used to in comparison to brands sold at Whole Foods and Hy-Vee. The Delish brand is DELISH :-) but it is not as hot as other brands and has a very slightly fermented or pickled taste, which for me knocked the product down to 4 stars. The slices are a good size and just right chewy. - definitely recommend this big beautiful bag, especially if you are not a big fan of super-peppery ginger.4Hit or miss - if the bag is stale or rancidOrder was stale, rancid and couldn t be eaten. Response from seller was sorry it was bad, we ll look into it. That s it. So I m stuck with a 5 lb bag of spoiled candy and $27 down the drain. I ve been buying from the seller every month for a year. When I had a problem, the response was too bad. If you get a fresh bag, it s delicious, but if you get a stale bag it will be rancid, hard as shoe leather, where you can t even bite into the candy, and the seller will kindly apologize but leave you with a 5 lb bag of rancid ginger (so money flushed down the toilet). Not worth the risk of spending the money and getting spoiled food. Typically the review would be solely on the product, but in this case the seller is the maker of the product.1that this Ginger is the best she has ever hadMy Aunt tells me....that this Ginger is the best she has ever had....the portions are larger and more tender...O M G...she downs a 5 pounder every other month...5So Very Delicious!Best dried apples I have ever tasted, and the company, WOW! I ordered these on Friday, and got these on a SUNDAY. Are you kidding me?! That is the fastest delievery I have ever received. Thank you very much! The main store I shop has dried apples that are just plain AWFUL, brown and hard, and another store has good ones, but in a tiny little package. Guess what, this is the only company I want to buy my dried apple rings! Delish dried apple rings are soft, and so so good! I will keep buying them, as long as they make them!5
