Stability for the One-armedExcellent option for someone who is limited in using one of their arms due to surgery or other reason and needs assistance with their stability. Provides more stability than a cane but is slightly more difficult to wield. 4Great Hemi WalkerMy son had a stroke and needed this walker. It is lightweight but sturdy. He can easily fold it and put it away when it is not being used. Also, adjusts for his 6'1" stature. 5Great stability easy to useI wanted a way to transition from a rolling walker to a cane. A regular and a quad cane did not provide enough stability. The hemicane is great. 5Hemi-Walker You'll Want To GetGreat item. Never heard of one before but it is the ideal walker for my wife. She had a stroke and lost mobility on her left side both arm and leg. This walker allows her to use her right hand and is able to maintain her balance without any issues. Since she cannot use her left arm, this is ideal for her. 5BETTER THAN EXPECTED!nA great product. Very well made. Move one thing to collapse for storage. It can be used on the side under your shoulder or you can place it in front of you to pass through narrow places. Both positions provide excellent stability. There is an easy learning process (better stability is achieved by holding it in one position). I notice that the hand grip is a little slippery when my hand is wet. I think this walker is much more discrete than the common two handed models. 5Amazing Walker for people that only have use of one armMy mother-in-law recently broke her arm and was in a rehabilitation facility where they used this device. We purchase one for her so she could get around her home as she could not use her walker anymore. This was the perfect replacement for her walker she actually likes it better than using her walker. it looks heavy in the photo but in real life it's actually quite lite and folds down flat for travel. 5Its lightweight and strongI purchased this hemi walker for my father because he is in need of assistance when walking due to a stroke. Since he has use of one of his arms and both of his legs to an extent it is good for him to use to move around. Its foldable so that it can be stored somewhere and not be an obstruction to anyone. I would like to say its very wide, which makes sense since it is supposed to distribute the weight throughout its framework which is what makes it so strong BUT its just a little too big for using in our bathroom this is just personal input something to consider when purchasing. Its a very good and strong hemi walker and lightweight and does what its supposed to. I'm satisfied with my purchase just wish I had a bigger bathroom to maneuver my father in. 5Great QualityI bought this for my mother as a replacement. It is a stronger metal and has a nice tight lock when it's opened. My mom loves it. She always knocks her other one over and this one has taken the beating so far. Medical supply stores want to charge Medicare patients way too much for these type of necessary supplies. I save tons shopping from Amazon. 5A MUST HAVEThis is a must have--it saves me a fall a day. I have two: one near each of my favorite sitting chairs. With it I do not need a lift chair. But the real kicker to this walker is that you can use it with one hand and it is THE ONLY WALKER THAT WILL NAVIGATE NARROW HALL AND TIGHT TURNS. I would rather be without a brain than without these walkers. And what a great price. They are not a walker for outdoors as they lack wheels for distance but are great for yard work. 5Much more safe and stable than a quad cane!I am currently using a folding 2 wheel walker, recovering from a below the knee leg amputation. I wanted to progress to using a quad cane, but it is too unstable and I don't feel safe walking--I am really afraid of falling.This hemi walker has been great for me, I can practice walking with it, and it is so much more stable and safe for me than a quad cane. It is easy to fold/unfold, and lightweight, much lighter than my walker and so much easier to get it in and out of my van.It came fully assembled and I was using it within minutes. I only had to adjust the lenth of the legs and I was ready to go.It seems well made and very sturdy. I've been using it for about three weeks now and have not had any problems with it.I would definitely reccomend this for anyone who would like to move on from a walker, but doesn't feel safe with a quad cane--this hemi walker has been great for allowing me to practice walking safely and improve my walking and balance on my leg prosthetic. 5
