Great pasta alternative!I am trying to get back on Keto after falling off the wagon, although the net carbs are higher than I'd like per serving they are WAY LESS than traditional pasta and 2 oz is a lot when you actually make it and realize it's an entire bowl of pasta. I made some today as a test run and tried it with some pesto and it was surprisingly good! I was so worried they would be slimy and gross like other ones I've tried, but these hit the spot! Will be subbing ziti pasta with these tonight to see how they go with red sauce :)5Great ProductI have been on the low-carb diet for about a year I recently started to miss pasta including Japanese noodles (soba, udon, etc.). I looked for alternatives and purchased a small box of Edamame Spaghetti based on the good reviews. Pasta looked so dry and skinny, but I was surprised that it cooked so well after boiling only 3 minutes. I put meatballs over for the first meal and then made a Japanese noodle dish for the second time. The pasta does not have any strong tastes and I think it can go well with any sauce/toppings as I tried leftover pasta with tandoori chicken. The texture is just like eating regular thin noodles. I also like the fact that the ingredient is only edamame without any strange stuff. I am very happy to find this product and purchased another box (larger one this time)!5Great Spaghetti Substitute!My husband is Italian and diabetic, so pasta is a challenge. We LOVE Explore Edamame Spaghetti! The texture is very similar to pasta, the flavor is mild and works as a great carrier for sauce/gravy. So glad we discovered something that he can enjoy without spiking his blood sugar!!!5Just what I've been looking forI love pasta but like many people I can't eat pasta because it makes me gain weight. Over the years I've tried several substitutes with varying degrees of success. When I first came across this product I was skeptical but after trying this product I feel like I have found a way to enjoy pasta dishes again. The flavor of theses noodles is mild and goes with a variety of toppings, even just olive oil and a little Parmesan. The texture is slightly chewy but in a great way. If you are avoiding eating grains then this is the way to go.5High protein pasta optionGreat high protein pasta option. One suggestion: Do not make with a meat sauce. We made that mistake and it just becomes too heavy due to the density and protein content of the pasta itself. Would go much better with a pesto sauce or a light marinara sauce. Also, suggest cutting down the cooking time to half of what the instructions say -- otherwise it gets to be a strange texture that takes some getting used to. But overall, would recommend.4I Like It!!I like this spaghetti better than pasta! - First it cooks quickly!! - Second it takes only about a liter of water for cooking! - Third Al Dente is a piece of cake!! - Fourth I like the coarser texture - and - Fifth it tastes better than pasta to me and the trouble-n-strife!! - Oh! - Let's add a Sixth! It holds sauce great!! - Don't tell anyone it vegan and they'll love it too! ~;0) VivaChas!5Fantastic Low Carb Pasta ReplacementI follow a ketogenic way of eating and so maintain a very low carb diet. I have tried other pasta replacements like shirataki noodles and kelp noodles. They work in a pinch, but if you've ever used a konjak product you know it smells off-putting and takes some practice to cook right. Even when it is properly prepared, it doesn't match the taste or consistency of "regular" noodles. These edamame noodles, however, are SO GOOD. They have a consistency that reminds me of whole wheat pasta, are substantial and very filling (the protein and fiber definitely help). I would highly recommend this product, especially to those looking for low carb alternatives to pasta. At about 7g net carbs per serving it's a wonderful product to throw into meal rotation. I'm so happy to have found these noodles!5GREAT VEGAN PROTEIN SOURCE!As a vegan weight lifter, this product really helps me to get in some additional needed protein without excess carbs and/or fat - and it is delicious! The key is to NOT overcook it. Tastes great with pasta sauce, but especially "aglio e olio" style (just don't overdo it with the olive oil!) As long as the nutrition facts are truly accurate, this is a fantastic addition to any fitness enthusiast's pantry!5Delicious product but inaccurate product pageEdamame pasta is a fantastic find! It has a slightly chewier texture than standard pasta but otherwise tastes just like what grandma used to serve, and it has lower carbs than normal pasta, which is great for the diabetic in my family. In place of the carbs it has lots of protein, and, unlike practically all other vegetable pasta, this is a complete protein, so I can serve a vegetarian meal without worrying about getting adequate protein.So why only two stars? The product page picture is NOT correct. You get 6 8-ounce boxes of pasta, NOT 6 2-pound boxes; you do NOT get what the page promises to deliver. I have reported this to Amazon,but they have not corrected the information.2AMAZING!!!this is the only gluten free pasta I buy now!!! it tastes nothing like edamame, so if that is intimidating you, don't let it! I actually dislike edamame but I don't feel that this pasta tastes anything like it. the texture is amazing as well, so close to real pasta you can barely tell the difference. best part is that there's only 1 ingredient! cannot say enough good things about this.5
