Great affordable options for people who can use store-bought readersThis is the second set of three reading glasses that I purchased. I had been using dollar tree reading glasses, which cost $1 each. I did this so that I could have pairs of glasses everywhere I might be when I are looking to read something. The only problem with those cheap glasses was that the frame was flimsy. I am very pleased that the frames (and lens) of the Eyekepper glasses are sturdy.I opted for the least expensive option of 3 assorted pairs. They include reader for outside with darkened lens. I have not been reading outside this chilly season and so cannot report on them. But two sturdy readers for under $6 (not even including dark lensed one) is a good deal.5Good looking reading glasses!Comfortable and good looking; the color of the frames is not as light/bold stripes as the photos in the listing (I thought this was a good thing!), and the sunglasses tint seems darker than the listing photos (also a good thing in my opinion). I like the spring hinges - much better than many of the non-spring drugstore readers I've found. I also like that these came in a 0.5 - I only needed light magnification for reading at night.5Not as good as I hoped they would be.......I own a small home remodeling business.Received 3 pair; two standard and one tinted of 1.0 power. I didn't use the tinted pair; the other two failed in a couple of months. One set I used at home while on the computer doing invoicing, etc. and the other I kept in my truck for use while at the home centers buying products.Arms were very loose upon arrival; I had no luck trying to tighten them. I really liked the color and patterns of the frames but will not re-order due to the crappy build quality.2Pretty good.These are pretty good quality for the money. Amazed at the quality and feel of these for so little money.5Work as expected, and an unbelievable priceRecently the small print on certain bank statements has become difficult for me to read, so I thought it was time to try a set of magnifying glasses. These do exactly what you would expect them to do, and they can't be beat for the price. I will mention that they work best if you are focusing on only one thing, so reading a book for example. As I am constantly moving between bank statements and a computer screen, there is a second of adjustment required for the eyes to focus on each. Also, when you take them off, it again requires a second to refocus. This is not an issue with the glasses themselves. Just wanted to put that out there for people like myself who had never used them before.5Now I really like them. ComfortableFirst I wasn't sure. Then I got compliments. Now I really like them. Comfortable, too.======I took off a star because one arm tends to loosen and eventually it fell off. The other one is starting to loosen. Another critique: they are a little bit heavier than my usual glasses and that slight extra weight starts to become uncomfortable after a while. The sunglasses pair was a very nice bonus in this purchase. I am very satisfied5Wide but pinches noseThese are great for people with wide heads. They don't pinch like other cheap readers. But for me, the measurement of the bridge was smaller than I require, so they pinched my nose! If you get headaches from glasses, just be aware. Otherwise, they work well and the shades are useful.4
