Fits my truck! 2005 Nissan Frontier. I'm not using it for an office chair!I know this is a lumbar support for office chairs, but I bought it for my 2005 Nissan Frontier pickup truck! It fits my truck seat perfectly. The long top strap is more than long enough to go from behind the seat, under the headrest, and back down to the front cushion. There was about 20" of unused top strap when I was finished mounting it. The two lower straps fit the lower edges of the seat snug, then go behind the seat to a triangle union, where all three straps come together. Straps and main body material is heavy duty, and easy to clean. The best thing about this lumbar support, is it doesn't move all around in the seat. This is important because OTHER brands out there shift from side to side when you enter and exit the vehicle. Fellowes should market this for automotive use as well, I bought it hoping it would work in my truck, and I'm glad it did!I did give it a 4 star rating ONLY because the small triangle cushion above the lower lumbar cushion is awkward and unconfortable! The plus, there is a small zipper below the triangle cushion that allows you to remove the cushion. I removed my small triangle cushion and just trashed it! I do recommend this product for automotive use, I'm sure it is good in the office too! 4Awkward and UncomfortableNeeded some support for my home office chair which was too deep for me to sit back against while working on PC.This thing felt like a had left a pile of clothes on hangers on the back of my chair. Poking into me at weird places, no support, uneven feel to it. Too shallow to solve my deep seat problem as well. Highly do not recommend.I ended up using a K lbs Cushions Gel Supreme Wheelchair Seat Cushion placed against the back of chair, that wasn't needed by my parents. It was a large size 22"x18"x3" so fit snug in place without straps and it did the job perfectly. 1Do Not Recommend PurchasingI give this product 0 stars bc I ordered 2 of them and both had the strap on the top break off. It is very poorly made. I would give it the benefit of the doubt but 2 in a row have broken in the exact same spot and now I can't return the 2nd one bc the window to return is up so in stuck with a defective product. 1well-made, well-engineered back supportThis is a well-made, well-engineered back support. Far better quality than any of the others I've purchased. I sit many long hours in an office chair working at my sewing machine--after a few hours, my back hurts a lot regardless of the height adjustments, etc. that I make to alleviate and correct the problems. So I bought this back support in hopes it would give me some real relief. The relief has been there, but not total relief (perhaps that's too much to hope for). I can sit for longer than I could before, so that is a good thing, but still not as long as I'd like. The bad thing is that this is not a particularly comfortable support to lean back against--it feels hard and very solid behind me, not cushy and comforting. Perhaps that's the way it's supposed to be. I am short (5'2") and this is a bit tall for my back, so it's been difficult to get it adjusted just right for the small of my back. The straps and fastening setup on this back support do seem to be a lot better than what you usually get, and it does stay on the chair, in the position you want it to be in quite well. I think if you were taller than I am, this would be a very good support. The quality is certainly superior. 4ouch!I really don't like writing negative reviews, but this was a huge disappointment. First off, when I took it out of the package it had some sort of stains on it (see pictures). Not the end of the world, but not exactly appealing. I figured as long as it does it's job, who cares. Well, I used this product for about 30 minutes and couldn't wait to remove it. It was so uncomfortable that it actually made my back pain WORSE. And it was a bit of struggle trying to get it to fit my office chair....but eventually I did fit. This product might be very useful for someone else, but it's definitely not for me! 1This won't fit a large chairI ordered this back support to provide support for lower back. My office chair is not a small secretarial chair but a high backed chair with arm rests and the back rest of the chair is wider at the bottom than at the top. This product was delivered promptly and received on 2-26-19. I eagerly unpacked it and tried to install it. The straps that go around the back of the chair horizontally are not long enough for this support to support the low back. About the lowest I could get the support was to the level of my shoulder blades. If you need upper back support or cervical support this may work. If you have a large chair it will not work unless you provide your own straps and they are long enough to attach to the support and then to wrap around the back of the chair. If you are a secretary or use a secretarial type chair you will probably be aok with this product. It is a shame because on other respects this is a well designed support. It is a shame that the straps aren't a foot or 2 longer.Joe Canino 2Attention USPS drivers: Will fit in LLV'sJune 1, 2018: Almost 3 years later, I need to re-order. And, not because the product gave out. Put my support in a spare LLV while mine was in service, and they took back the spare along with my support. The straps were a bit stretch out, but amazed that they held at all points. So, off to order another! BTW, the paddings are zippered in, so you can wash when it gets a bit funky.June 6, 2015: I typically do not leave many reviews, but wanted to for any postal carriers out there. I have 3 bad thoracic (mid back) discs and this provides much needed support. Anyone who drives a LLV knows how incredibly poor the ergonomic design is for our driver seats. I've looked into numerous back supports and they are either too deep and leave little room for your posterior to seat comfortably or they are too flimsy to hold up to numerous dismounts throughout the day. The 3 point harness keeps the support in place fairly well. The only problem is that our seats have the integrated headrest that essentially makes the seat super tall (like a high back Executive chair). This causes the support to ride up on occasion. A few times throughout the day I have to readjust and push the support back down. A minor inconvenience considering the relief I get from having it. I'm no longer hunched over all day. I can sit up straight with support and my shoulders have room to roll back.By far, one of the best investments I have made recently. If you add up all the hours spent driving and put a price tag on being more comfortable during that time, how much would you pay? 5Fits my back perfectly and provides GREAT support for my entire backUpdate 8/24/12: I'm still in love with this product! It stays in place without any maintenance on my part. I have a much more pleasant work day sitting at my desk because of this support.Original post 7/2/12: I spend around 12 hours in the office on average with 80-85% of my time at my desk. I am amazed at how much better my back felt after adding this back support to my chair. I've had it for 1 week now and continue to be impressed with my pain relief. I've tried many others but this was the first item to immediately stop my lower back ache. It doesn't slip or move. It is perfectly positioned from the bottom of my lower back to the top of my shoulder blades as well as on each side of my hips. I have already recommended this to several co-workers and trust that this cushion will become a common purchase amongst those here in my office. My back deserves support like this and $40 is cheaper than a chiropractor visit so win-win for me! :) 5decreased qualityI purchased Fellowes Professional Series Back Support twice: 2015 and 2018. I didn't leave any review when I first bought it but felt very pleased with the quality of the back support. It made those long working hours enjoyable by providing me the appropriate back and spine support. I would've rated this product 5 star if I never return to purchase the second one recently. The most recent purchase turned out that the back support is weakened by a somehow much softer material. Maybe the company had to switch to a cheaper supplier in order to reduce the cost? I'm not sure why. But because I have both the old and new products in hand, one thing I am sure is their current products aren't supportive enough on your back due to the decreased quality. 2Comfy, but Too Small IMO. It's okay.This cushion would be off-the-charts great if it was bigger, both to fit my back better, and my office chairs. My wife purchased this for me in the hopes that it would relieve my back pain. I am 5'7'', 205 lbs, and I think its too small for my back... The dimensions in the description are accurate. It's about 15x14 inches. On a positive note: It is quite comfy where it does make a connection against my back. The cushioning is firm, and It actually feels like a nice pressure-point massage, and it is helpful to keeping good posture while seated. The cushions are removable, which is nice if you need to wash the cloth. The downside is, like I said, its too small IMO. It needs to be taller and wider.I have two highly-adjustable high-back leather office chairs with adjustable lumbar support, and one cheaper cloth low-back. The straps fit all the chairs, but the cushion doesn't feel right, at least for me, on the high-back chairs even after several adjustments. It seems to work best on the low-back, so that's where its going to stay. I'm keeping the cushion since I got it for a great price, but it seems to have been made for teeny-tiny people. I probably would have returned this item if it was purchased at full price. I suspect this cushion is best suited to very cheap, flat-cushioned, low-backed chairs. 3
