Cafe du Monde On Tap!Terrific for that genuine CDM (Cafe du Monde) "fix".First, heat up your milk (about 1/2 of the cup to very hot.Set your Keurig to yield only a small cup of coffee, and let that pour into your pre-heated cup of milk.Add sugar.You are set (except no saxaphone players or the like for your entertainment as you sip your coffee).5PerfectFrench Market has always made my favorite coffee. It does not have too much acid ,it isn't too strong tasting, it is just amazing. My biggest regret with Keurig was that I had to make my own K cups. Sometimes I was just too tired, so I would get lazy and not enjoy my coffee. Now, this is awesome. I get my favorite coffee, even when I am too tired to make my own K cup.But, this is even better. Since buying K-cups of any brand typically runs between .050-0,75 a serving, again it gets expensive. The ability to purchase them in a case at a lower price, delivered to your door makes it the best thing ever!!!5I could have been an LSU fan if I hadn't have been born right in the middle of Dawg country...Love my Dawgs, but a few visits to New Orleans should be on everyone's bucket list!Now granted this is not Cafe Du Monde brand (can't find it in k-cups) But, Ahh to be in New Orleans would be perfect. I first had Chicory Coffee during a visit to Cafe Du Monde while in New Orleans many years back. The early morning walks with the smell of fresh made Beignets and coffee brewing is the perfect way to start anyone's day. Now that I think about it, It's getting time to head back out there. I may purchase 2 Delta ticket's after writing this review.This coffee brings back so many great memories. I really enjoy this coffee when the fall is upon us. I love the smell on a cool brisk day. The taste is very bold, non-bitter and full flavored. To wake up on a Saturday morning knowing NCAA football is kicking off in just a few hours. And knowing you have a Boston butt, baby back ribs and sausage about to go on your grill or smoker. To start the day off with one or two cups this coffee, I really really recommend it. Life is worth living...enjoy!A couple of fun facts:Coffee first came to North America by way of New Orleans back in the mid-1700's.The Original Cafe Du Monde Coffee Stand was established in 1862 in the New Orleans French Market. The Cafe is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It closes only on Christmas Day and on the day an occasional Hurricane passes too close to New Orleans.5Better than Cafe Au Latte at Cafe Du Monde...seriously!After a visit with family in Southwest Lousiana, I discovered this product at WalMart. With no hope of our local store carrying the variety, I found it on Amazon. I usually have to drink light and medium roast because of the bitter aftertaste. I have had cafe lattes at Cafe DuMonde in New Orleans, this coffee is actually better. The chickory in this coffee makes it very smooth. I usually make 10 oz. of this coffee to 2 oz. of creamer. It's much darker than other coffees. Perfect cup every time.5The packaging has changed and so has the coffee - weaker!!The packaging has changed but everything (description of contents) appeared to be the same and I purchased extra.When I received the order, it apoesrs the coffee was actually weaker. I started drinking this brand 40+ years ago because of its full flavor. Now, its like flavored water. I gave the rest of the coffee away.I called the Railly (sp) Company Customer Service Section [to see about the original coffee] and the dingbat keep telling me to contact Amazon. When I told her I was complaining about the delivery but the product she played dumb. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FRENCH MARKET AGAIN!!I'm looking for a deeper flavored coffee after 40+ happy years. I recently ordered 2 boxes of 40 each different coffees to find a new coffee. I'll updste this comment when I find another good coffee; so far none.3This coffee with chicory arrived in perfect condition in 2 days and was very fresh!!!We bought this coffee with chicory at an incredible price through our 1st Amazon Prime Pantry order. It arrived in perfect condition and was very fresh. The box that it was in had a divider to protect lighter items from being crushed by heavier items. My husband drank a couple of cups of this coffee and it tasted fine. I wish that I had bought an additional pack while it was available at that low price. Some might not like the stronger, slightly bitter taste of the chicory in the coffee but we were already familiar with it. We've also had other types of French Market coffee and they were always good. We're really happy with the products, packaging, and services from Amazon Prime Pantry.5Great coffee!I was sitting in the hospital waiting room, when I overheard a couple talking as they were online shopping on their I-pad. They were discussing this coffee - which I had never heard of. It is the ONLY coffee they will drink. They were from New Orleans, but living here in Texas. Of course I had to try it. I was not disappointed! I love it, and will purchase it again.5Strong, bold flavor not usually achieved with kcups!I have never had coffee with chicory before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but turns out I love coffee with chicory. I think it will vary person to person because my husband is not a fan, but his coffee style tends to be heavy on the cream and sugar and I prefer bolder flavors.As for the pods themselves, I am a new fan of this brand. I have found some pods make bland, watery coffee if you are making a large cup. I often use a very large coffee mug and do one 10 oz cycle and one 6 oz cycle with the same pod. There has been no decrease in flavor or boldness when I do a double cycle vs a smaller 10 oz one cycle cup of coffee.This has earned a permanent spot in my prime pantry order. Very pleased with this product!5I would drink nothing but this coffee for the rest of my life!!As much as I wanted to dock this stars for plastic pods, the flavor is so delicious that I had to still give 5 stars! True deep south flavor of coffee with chicory that I haven't been able to get up here in NOVA at all. Now, if they would just use eco-pods, I would drink nothing but this coffee for the rest of my life!! It seems to be an acquired taste though (millions of people love it, a few don't) since hubs is not a fan, but I am, so thank goodness for the Keurig so we're both happy. But don't let the plastic pods stop you from trying this awesome coffee, but come on Reily Foods Company - start using eco-pods!!4Smooth, rich and delicious.I drank French Market for years before switching to the one-cup brewing machine, so I was thrilled to discover the French Market K-Cups. The coffee is delicious, just as good as I remembered. The chicory enhances the richness of the coffee flavor, while adding a 'smoothness" to the taste. I really enjoy this coffee. It reminds me of pleasant mornings in New Orleans.5
