These really work!Had gone to a podiatrist, had therapy, bought special insoles, and nothing worked! I had given up, but decided to try these, and they worked! Suffered for months with plantar fasciitis, and was in terrible pain.5Translucent silicone "cup" for your heel, it's like insoles w/o insolesThe item arrived in a re-sealable bag and contained 6 pairs. It looks slightly different from the ones pictured as these are translucent instead of white, but it works the same. You can put them over your socks (if you wear any) or just wear them normally so they cushion your heels as you walk. It's like having extra-bouncy insoles, and they do feel pretty good.The problem is getting them to STAY ON as you try to shoehorn your foot into your shoe. You have to really loosen your shoes, slip your foot in, then re-tighten your shoe. And even though it is stretchy, those with very thick ankles may feel a bit tight.As for whether they help with heel pain and such? Hmmm... I don't know yet. Give me a month and I'll tell you. But it does make my heel feel better. And that alone, may be worth it.4These things work!!!!!This has been the most effective insert I have found to help with my heel pain, which is the result of plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. Typically any time I am on my feet for an extended period of time no matter what shoes I am wearing the pain by the end of the day is unbearable and I end up limping through the second half of the day. I started using these a couple of days before Christmas and on Christmas Day I had them in during church service (wearing boots with heels), while cooking dinner (wearing slippers) and while serving and cleaning up dinner dishes (mostly in my socks, but with the heel cups). At the end of the day my feet were still tired, but none of the excruciating pain that has previously ruined holidays for me. I wear them pretty much from the time I wake up until I m ready to get in the bed every day including during daily workout. They are easy to clean and seem durable so far. While this didn't take care of every symptom, I was recently told by a Mayo doctor that my heel fat pads are about half of what people normally have and my heel bone is growing to compensate. She really didn't have any advice for me, because I wear shoes allll the time and I have to take out the soles to put in my Rx inserts, which are hard. I never go without shoes, because my feet hurt too much. On a whim, I purchased these. I can now walk around in stocking feet, no shoes, easily for an hour. I live in a snowy, cold climate and I am constantly in and out - being able to kick off my wet snowy shoes when I walk in and not have to step into another pair immediately - game changer. They won't cure everything - but if you have heel issues related to thin heel pads - these might be for you. And - they are less than $15...can't hurt, might help!5
