Great straws but everything sticks to them!Only downside is that any lint hair dust anything within a mile radius (sarcasm but anything within the room you re in) will find its way to stick to this straw! Annoying but better that throwing away millions of plastic straws!Also I wish they had a handy case to use to keep it inpurse when not using and to take to restaurants and such! Because if put in pocket or purse you ll pull out a lint infested straw you don t want to drink out of! So I got glass straws for restaurants, Starbucks tea and taking with me because no lint issues! 4Perfect extra tall strawsI bought these to fit into the most perfect water bottle I've found yet, and they work perfectly. Squishy enough to fit through the opening yet stiff enough to remain open. You can throw them in the dishwasher and you get two brush cleaners for scrubbing the inside. They are larger diameter, like smoothie size, so that was a nice surprise. 5So helpful.I am limited with my walking ability. A large thermos-type "glass" is what I use. I can fill it with a whole tray of ice cubes & water that will stay cold for at least 24 hours. Unfortunately none of the straws I could find locally were long enough. These are perfect!I opted for silicone for several reasons. Silicone tolerates the coldness without becoming stiff: they remain flexible. If necessary, they can be trimmed down a bit shorter. The included brushes clean them well. Since they are brightly colored they are easy to find in the utensil drawer. If the opening in the lid is smaller than the external diameter of the straw, it can be squeezed to an oval shape to fit through without blocking. The larger internal diameter means thicker liquids are not a problem if someone's sucking ability is weaker than normal.A fantastic item which is so helpful !!! Thank you. 5Great set of extra long, bendable, colorful straws.So far, these are easy to clean and have no flavor. I deducted one star because as others have noted, every hair, lint or dust in the area seems to be attracted to them haha. However, the debris doesn t actually stick and wipes off pretty easy. I loved how the set included 2 long-handled brushes. On that note, there s a review where the person was unhappy because the handle of the brush isn t long enough to clean the whole straw. Seriously??? Just remove it and stick it in the other end of the straw, dummy! Also, for the people who complained they are too long - it clearly states they are 12 inches long right in the title! Sigh. Anyway, I m using these for smoothies in a 40oz, super tall Hydro Flask type thermos and they are exactly what I needed. They are not too bendy, and the diameter is larger than a normal straw but not at all uncomfortable to drink from. They are just right for anyone who needs a super long set of straws. 4Quality Product.Great straws. Perfect for my new favorite (tall) cup. . .and you can trim them if they are too long (which is what I did with one of them for my daughter's water bottle) . . .but they are the perfect length for the COLD-1 40oz Thermal Mug. 5Great help for persons with disabilities.These are just great to have. Only took off one star because they are so very large around in size, but we needed something longer than the shorter ones with the curve, which we also have, and like for smaller cups the patient uses. I like the fact that the cleaning aids are included. They can have a tendency to suck down on the surface of the bottom of the cup, so I use a scissor to snip off one side on one end of the straw and that ends the problem. Being so large, they are a little cumbersome and difficult to fit through the hole in the top of his cup (lid), as we have to keep a lid on the cup in order to keep the straws from coming out easily, also for less chance of big spills. Patient is paralyzed, so not so steady. These are truly helpful lthough, being soft and bendable. Ordinary straws can bend and get a hole in them and will not work, or the patient can choke on them. I know they will last forever and do recommend them without hesitation. They aren't exactly cheap, but still well worth the price for their usefulness and lasting quality. 4Very sturdy, long straws fit 40 oz. RTIC tumblerThese straws are fantastic! They are nice and sturdy, and a little wider than the average straw, which is perfect for my 40 oz. RTIC tumbler. I love the fact that I have several of them, and handy brushes to clean them with, as well. They are also, as shown in the description, very flexible, but strong enough to hold their shape when pushed through the opening in the lid of my tumbler. 5Tight Fitting, Durable, Straw Which SucksThe straws are larger than I had expected, and when inserting the straw, in through the hole of travel mug, it spits out the contents of the cup.They are soft, durable, and somewhat easy to drink out of. The straws do fit tight, so if you lift the straw off the bottom of the cup, you will not be able to simply slide the straw back to the bottom of the container in which one is using without removing the lid and pulling on the straw from the inside the lid. I think I might cut a very small angle on the bottom of the straw so that it does not suck against the bottom of the cup, which will lock the straw against the bottom of the cup, not allowing for withdrawal of contents. 4Extra longThese are nice quality. They are extra long and fit the 40 oz. ThermoFlask I bought at Costco. It makes it safer for me to drink through the straw while I'm driving than to have to bend my head back and take my eyes off the road. 5Talk Enough for 40oz Bottle!Finally one talk enough for the 40oz Simple Modern Summit bottle with chug lid. Flexible enough to fold down inside the bottle to close the lid, but thick enough to stand easily on it's own. Very wide straw, would be good for smoothies. Water comes out very quickly but you get used to it, no big deal. 5
