Illy always great taste.As the norm with illy cafe, a great tasting cappuccino every time. Can't buy these in my local grocery store, so glad available on amazon. Price is better than illy site as well.5very weak coffeeIt is coming out very weak coffee. Well I tried it, and will not buy it again, I'll continue to get the whole beans can and go the traditional way.1does not work well with the ese pod adapter on ...does not work well with the ese pod adapter on my saeco espresso classico machine,but the lavazza ese pods work well, so not convinced it is a problem on my end.comparing the two, i think the illy pods might be smaller, causing my machine's group head to leak hot water over my pressurized portafilter.no leaking using the lavazza pods. i initially thought it might be the group head gasket and replaced it, but still same issue.flavor-wise, a bit thin, maybe because of the 'extra' water leaked into the cup.2Great tasting, yet decafThe process to remove caffeine from coffee can also remove some of the other chemicals that act as flavor components. So, many decaf coffees can taste bland or just plain bad.I've tried decaf ESE pods from several other companies, and, in my opinion, these illy pods are the best out there. I've made them for friends and for myself, and we've enjoyed the classic illy quality flavor. Two thumbs and a tongue up!5Tastes greatThese espresso pods are very convenient for when I'm in a hurry. I almost always get a really good shot with these with a good crema. I like that these have a sort of watermark on one side, and that side goes up; that way you know you're placing them correctly. I read in a review somewhere here on Amazon that you should tamp these pods, so I do, just a little--just enough to make sure it's seated in the filter correctly and doesn't pop out just as I'm connecting the portafilter to the machine. These taste great. I prefer using ground coffee, but these are great for when I'm in a hurry or for my daughter if she wants to use my machine.At the time I purchased these, I thought the price was good, and I've noticed the price has gone down a little since then. Buying two boxes at once is worth it at this price.Note: These are teabag-like ESE pods are meant to go into a special filter of an espresso machine that's made for this type of pod. These are not for K-cup type machines or Nespresso machines or anything like that. These pods are not tied to a particular brand of machine.5Does not work with a GaggiaDoes not work with a Gaggia Baby Twin ESE pod basket . Using the wet pod like a glorified tea bag, the flavor is unobjectionable, but bland (no bitterness).
