Great Tasting, More Natural Protein PowderI'm an avid weight lifter (not looking to get massively jacked, just maintaining what I've got already), and have been using protein powders for years. I decided to stop using those synthetic, full-of-artificial-ingredients types of protein powders years ago and found Jay Robb. Maybe it was his fantastic mop of hair dyed artificially dark, or his perfectly trimmed 1990's era goatee that caught my attention (just take a look at my pic!), but I'm glad I gave it a try.Jay Robb prides his products on coming from milk from grass-fed cows, and using natural ingredients such as stevia as a sweetener instead of aspartame. I've tried his vanilla and strawberry powders, but I prefer the taste of the vanilla. It thickens my protein shakes (I use banana, avocado, cacao powder, super greens, and Jay Robb vanilla), and doesn't leave an aftertaste. Since his protein is all-natural, it's a little pricier, but I'm willing to pay more to avoid putting garbage and fillers into my body. Pay upfront and get the big 80oz. bag; it's a much better deal.5Tastes goodWhat can you really say about protein powder? I like that it's "all natural," which I take with a grain of salt considering this is a processed whey isolate. My wife cares about that though, and it's hard enough to convince her to let me use whey protein as it is so I'm not complaining. The one thing that I will say is that it tastes great! Way better than most proteins I have tried, which is a pretty significant amount. A little pricey, but I think that it's worth it.5Good product great priceI am starting to do squats as an exercise and I'm 64 years old. It was recommended that I wear knee sleeves to keep my knees warm and give me just a little support. I followed the procedure to determine the size I needed (measuring my knees with a tape measure). It worked fine and the sleeves fit just fine. Just slightly snug. I wore them during my exercise and I felt the added support (without cutting off my circulation) and my knees were toasty warm. I recommend this product very heartily. I do some mobility work outside in 30 degree weather (running sideways, backwards, etc). I'll put these on for that outside work to keep my knees warm and give them a little support. I'm very pleased with the product and I recommend it heartily. And what a great price !5Jay Robb Whey Protein (Vanilla) 80oz bagI love this stuff. Ordered the 80oz through Propel Nutrition. Was a little concerned I had ordered something else by accident, given the weird options above, and one of those options said they were out of the 80z in vanilla. But I think this is because this product has new(er) packaging (a bag as opposed to the tub they show in the description). But it arrived sooner than expected, and I'm looking forward to continuing to put this stuff to good use. I recommend it with soy milk (for thickness) and your favorite frozen berry or peanut butter.The only other protein powder I've tried is Designer Whey, and while I liked the flavor just fine, this has less carbs and doesnt have the after taste I noticed with DW.If anyone has experiences with the pina colada flavor, I'd love to hear about it.5Jay Robb protein mix IS THE BEST on the market.I have used this stuff for some time. It tastes great and and I like it because it does not have artificial flavors or ingredients. I will not put any protein mix in my body that contains artificial sweeteners and/or flavors as MANY other brands do. Check the label before you buy.. this is the BEST. I bought it from here because the price was the best I found anywhere. Most stores don't sell the big 80oz bag which clearly is the best way to purchase this product. You know you're going to use it, so why not get the most from your money? It's a little bite up front, but after a little while, you'll be glad you did. I saved a container from a previous purchase to put the product in. I fill it up, leave the rest in the re-sealable bag, and put it in the freezer. Excellent muscle food!5The Best there is!Being on a very strict diet leaves out most protein powders on the market. I did a lot of research on Jay Robb and decided to give it a go with the expectation that it would taste just a bit better than wet cardboard. I was wrong. The Vanilla is simply the best protein powder I have ever used, yes I said the best and will hold to that.Mixing is fast with no clumping in a shaker bottle but I do not recommend using a blender or bullet. The mix goes to instant froth and I was left with just enough drinkable product to aggravate me until the froth settled.Would I order again, I did more than that it, I subscribed and now 80oz comes every 60 days.5Hopelessly AddictedDecember 2015... Update... Hopelessly addicted!After several years of using the Vanilla Whey Jrobb I have to admit that I tried a couple other well know protein isolate brands. ( Yuk! ) Didnt even want to finish my drink. With the new increase in price to push us into the direct " monthly subscription service " I gave a try to a couple competitors. It was no contest. I have perfected my personal morning breakfast protein smoothie recipe over several years. It's truly unbelievably delicious and includes a double shot of espresso. But without the JRobb its night and day. I don't know what magic is in this stuff that makes it smoother, creamier, thicker , and so much better tasting...Just wish it was cheaper. At about $1.60 per skoop serving I'm in over $550 a year! Yikes!!I've been using this product for a few months now. Its one of the best tasting protein powders around. Very good taste even on it's own though I enjoy adding instant coffee to mine. The large size lowers the cost per serving. The container is very convenient too. Shipping was quicker than expected.5Clean! Albeit a little sweet for my taste.My boyfriend put me onto Jay Robb as a nice clean provider of whey protein. The xylitol does make it rather sweet for me, but I don't like refined sugar or even honey, so this could be my taste buds. In saying that, I blend my Jay Robb with cranberries using a hand blender, which reduces the sweetness a lot and I really like it.I also use this protein to make very clean protein bars using yams and cranberries. As I'm a weight lifter, I need to intake high quantities of protein and the bars are very satisfying. So far my boyfriend, personal trainer and his girlfriend love my bars and I'll stick with the Jay Robb in future!! Very happy.5Good but foamyI mix Jay Robb's protein powder with water and/or almond milk and frozen fruit for a refreshing smoothie after Jazzercise. Comparing this to protein powder I used in the past, Jay Robb's produces a foamy drink that seems to almost triple in size when blended. The result is occasional burping afterwards. It dissolves well with no clumps, but there is a slight aftertaste which doesn't last long.4good protein powderI like it fine. Mix the powdered peanut butter with it sometimes to cut some of the sweet. Stevia can be super sweet. I use JR as quick breakfast if late getting out or mid morning snack at work. Mixes well with almond/coconut milk blend, soy milk, plain almond milk, water and even coffee if in a hurry. Have done that a couple times. Needed my coffee and my protein drink....saves time to throw together, run out door and drink in car. The bag while recyclable, after a while, is a royal pain to close. (4 stars) The zip just won't. I use bag clips when it gets stubborn and call it done. I couldn't find chocolate in big bag size when I ordered the vanilla, I'm hoping it's now available because it'll be time to order again soon.4
