Ripoff. Cost is nearly 300% of normal retail.Insanely overpriced. I was foolish and didn't check the conversion to ounces and assumed because someone was charging 17$ for 2 bottles they must be quite large.These bottles are marked up over 300% from RETAIL. Perfect for dunking breaded chicken into too.5Great sauce, small bottlesEvery time I visit the UK, I would always make a stop my first day to Nando's. When I saw this online, I was excited to be able to bring this flavor home with me to the US. I also tried a bottle of the Rhino Peri-Peri sauce which is more common in the US. Looking at the ingredient list, they are very similar except for the fact that the Nando's sauce has more of the serrano pepper (about 15000 SHU/hotness rating) than the peri-peri pepper (about 30000 SHU/hotness rating).Both sauces are excellent and have a very similar type of taste. Nando's has more of a traditional hotness to it while the Rhino sauce has more flavoring with the other seasonings. Personally, I would be happy with either one.The Peri-Peri sauces have a distinct lemon taste which makes them a perfect accompaniment for light colored meats. The sauce is good on a turkey sandwich, great on chicken tenders. I am hoping to also try a grilled chicken wrap soon.The downside of course is that it goes quickly. They say you get 26 servings out of each of the two bottles, but in reality, there are about 10 servings total. You could upgrade to the Nando's Hot or Extra Hot to stretch the bottles by using less, but Hot and Extra Hot sauces lose the accompanying spices that make the Peri-Peri sauce a hit. I would definitely recommend this sauce, but I think this sauce is better as a condiment(used for flavor) than a hot-sauce (used for heat).4Wrong productThe listing is for the medium sauce, I recieved hot. Very disappointed, and of course the product is not eligible for return.1Huge Tasty 1 Liter Bottle!If you have never tried Nando's Peri-Peri or been to a Nando's Restaurant, you are missing out on something really special! This sauce is just one of several that Nando's offers on Amazon. This one is my family's favorite. It is medium spicy and good on just about everything savory. We use it as a dipping sauce for chicken fingers, amd vegetables. We use it on salad and rice. A great punch of flavor. It is recommended to refrigerate this sauce after opening and use within one month. That is never a problem for us. I recommend the Nando's garlic sauce also. They do have a Hot version if you prefer more heat. This is some good stuff.5This is terrific stuff!I first ran into piri-piri while in Peace Corps in Malawi and later while visiting Mocambique, home of piri-piri prawns that are out of this world. So I was excited when on a visit to my kids in northern Virginia they took me to a Nando's restaurant. What great food! They even put piri-piri into their rich chocolate cookies for a extra bite. So when I found their sauce online via Amazon, that was exciting. I get the medium because the hot is a real burner and the mild is just too mild for me. I put it on dishes that I've cooked and coat chicken with it before it goes into the oven, then freshen it up a bit once the chicken comes out. I was put off initially by having to purchase 4 bottles at a time but honestly, they go so quickly that I'm always ordering more. This is great stuff and one of the very finest hot sauces around.5Delicious!!Excellent flavor, just like hone. Good on shrimp and other seafood killer on chicken.It is spicy so if you cant handle a lot of spice order the mild.5
