Helps!I ve been dealing with autoimmune issues and this helps to detox my liver. If you have mthfr this is a must! 5Compare to othersThis is not a review on if it works. I cant make any claims. What i will say is this brand boasts on the bottle Organic, 30x extract, 9000mg equivalent, 80% Silymarin. It is not USDA labeled organic certified. The other usda certified organic equivilent brand i use says exactly the amount of mg of Silymarin theres no math and it lists the extract ratio. Both are labeled satisfaction guaranteed. Look at the number of capsules and amount per serving. By the way organic is non gmo theres no need for that label but it looks good. Bottle is also plastic. 3... a blood test taken awhile back and the dr recommended milk thistle so I bought someThere was some low liver enzymes on a blood test taken awhile back and the dr recommended milk thistle so I bought some. All was normal for a recent blood test and I would definitely recommend this product. 5Milk Thistle is GREAT. This was too high a dose forTook this for liver health. I started with a much lower dosage in June 2017. Switched to this in either Sept or Oct of 2017. Liver blood and ultra sound tests showed I had gone from moderate fatty liver to completely normal by December 2017. I did change diet and started exercising, as well. I am giving it one star because it made me feel awful. It took me a while to figure out that this was the cause. I had to urinate all of the time, I was always very dehydrated, and I would get constant dizzy spells. After I stopped this, my symptoms ceased. I think Milk Thistle is great and definitely works. I think this is far too concentrated and high of a dose, at least for me. I switched back to the Nature Made 140mg tablets and I feel just fine. 1LIFE ALTERINGWow. Unbelieveable. Noticed a dramatic difference after just one dose. I have fatty liver disease and decided to try taking this because my enzymes were elevated. I wasn't expecting any noticeable effects. The night I took this I got the best sleep of my life. Normally I have general, non-local muscle aches at night which cause me to toss and turn. I have since come to find out that milk thistle is a VERY powerful anti-inflammatory, that it is also an anti-cancer agent, and that it also helps with allergies (that was another thing I noticed today; I usually sneeze and have to blow my nose frequently, and I haven't had to do that once today). Its also supposed to help with diabetes, high cholesterol levels, and gallstones. I also noticed that my skin was just glowing today. Well I have come to find out that milk thistle can also have an anti-aging effect on the skin. I noticed all of these things BEFORE reading up on the benefits of this supplement, so I know that my observations are not psychosomatic. I can never be without this supplement now.
