No flipping or flopping out of shoes with these snugs.The only heel snug for shoes that are about a half size too long. Other snugs are too thin. If you only need a bit of a heel cushion these might be over the top but if you love the shoes, they fit otherwise this comfortably snugs up to a full 1/2 size too long. 5Super thrilled and pleasantly surprised!I am a "between sizes" girl. 8.5 is too short and 9 is too long and my heels are narrow and low and the ball of my foot is wide, so shoes with backs rarely fit right. They always flop around or really cut into my Achilles. Needless to say I buy a lot of mules and sandals. However, there are times those are not appropriate and I need a good pair of comfortable shoes with backs that aren't flopping off my feet or rubbing sore spots on my heels.That's why I was so thrilled to install these heel snugs into a pair of dress loafers. Great looking shoes with a very rigid back that would cut right into the back of my ankle with every step. But almost the second I put these heel snugs in, I got instant relief! These are much thicker than your average heel pad and they have a lot more give and cushioning, which makes them more forgiving for various sizes. The adhesive is very strong and will not slip even when your feet heat it up. So, be sure you dry fit the snugs to figure out exactly where in that particular shoe you need them because once they're in, they're in!One nice thing is that the edges are all beveled, so you don't get any areas of "corner pressure". With a thicker item, I think that's important. The foam is dense but still quite forgiving, but sharper edges would have been a deal breaker on these for me!I would highly recommend these to anyone who is in between sizes with a big gap and problems with fitting their heels. However, if you only need a small pad to fill the space and regular thickness snugs work for you, these may be a bit thick.For me though, these have just expanded my shoe wardrobe by leaps and bounds!Now I want them in the tan color to fit some of my other shoes... 5Gave my yard boots a new lifeI buy lined winter boots and wear them pretty much all winter, and by then the leather has stretched and the padding inside is flattened. Socks can make up for the padding but I find my foot hurts if I do much standing. I use them for garden/outside lawn duties boots. My feet were starting to hurt and I was looking for a slip in support when I saw these and decided to try them.They are amazing. They're tall enough to fully support the arch, soft and plyable and my feet are very comfortable. I'm getting a pair to put in my good unmessy looking pair of boots too. They are just the right size and fix the problem without taking up any extra space. I gave them five stars for being so versital and working so well, though I won't be using them with heals. 5Didn't work for my boots.These may work just fine for high heels, but for my Wellington boots they were completely useless. I put one in the first boot where it should be, pressing down forcefully and making sure it was smooth and stuck well. When I tried to put the boot on, the top stuck to my sock and rolled off of the back of my boot. From then on the adhesive, that wasn't very strong to begin with, didn't stick very well. I put the second pad in the other boot a little lower in the boot and it didn't peel off, but it wasn't as comfortable. I ended up just peeling that one out because the first pad wasn't going to work. So basically this was a total flop. They seem well made, just not a strong enough adhesive. I bought these because the boots that where wide enough for my feet were a little too long. I guess I'll have to live with my boots slipping on my heel. 2...regretting this purchase!These work okay for taking up room in a shoe that is a bit too large, but they do not grip your heel to prevent slippage. ...and once you put them in the shoe, it is impossible to get them out. I am still trying to get them out of my shoes, and feel I have ruined my shoes and will have to buy another pair of shoes. I'm really regretting this purchase! They may work for some who just want to fill up room in the shoe because they are pretty thick. 1It is very comfortable on the heels and is as thick as advertisedThis actually turned out to be too thick (1/2") for my purposes but that is not the product's fault. It is very comfortable on the heels and is as thick as advertised. The material looked like it would be rough on the heels but it is not. This would probably allow you wear shoes that are a full 1 - 1 1/2 sizes bigger while wearing very thin dress or no-show socks. My shoes were only 1/2- a little less than 1 size too big and this made my toes curl up. But I managed to walk around for an hour without getting any blisters. 5GREAT!I had no idea these existed! I bought a pair of heels in size 9 (and I am an 8.5) but they were just too cute to return. I ordered these and the shoes fit PERFECTLY now - in fact, they are so much more comfortable and more secure than my heels that are in the correct size. I LOVE these. Your feet truly feel secure in heels. I wish I had known about these for my wedding; they would have been great with my wedding heels. I love these. They are truly a great product. Apply to the VERY top of the shoe edge and press hard so they adhere - and then carefully put your foot into the shoe. I am careful taking my shoes off as well - but they have stayed on for two months now! 5Extremely disappointingMy shoe fit perfectly but was too wide in the heel which is why I ordered these. They adhere extremely well, but pushed my foot so far forward that it made the shoes impossible to wear. It also pushed the heel forward into a wider part of the shoe which didn t help at all. Even with my foot crammed into the shoe and, it slipped off worse than it before I inserted them. I was really bummed. 1Great product that solved my problemI desperately purchased this when I sent my poor kindergartener to school in shoes that I hadn't noticed were too big for her. She even fell once on the first day because the shoes kept slipping off of her heel. I had spent quite a bit for little girl shoes, so this was a great alternative to purchasing another pair of shoes. They stick right inside the back area, and fit perfectly even into my daughter's kid shoes. They were cushioned and comfortable and she never once complained. The only this is this is pretty permanent - once her foot grew, it seemed like removing it would ruin the shoe so I just purchased her another pair at that time. 5They really work!I bought a pair of gorgeous designer wedges at consignment - I knew they were a half size too big, but I couldn't help myself. After shoving tissue in the toe, I decided there must be something better out there... When these popped on my radar, I knew I had to at least try it. After adjusting the positioning (higher up on the heel) my shoes no longer slip! I have another pair of gorgeous wedges my friend gave me that are too big, so I will certainly be buying more! 5
