You probably wouldn't like these pancakes...Shhh...don't tell anyone about these pancakes or they'll raise the price again! These are terrible, disgusting pancakes that taste like cardboard! Do yourself a favor and throw some whey protein on a griddle with an egg or 3, it's cheaper!But seriously...Usually when you buy high protein variations of regular food you are sacrificing flavor. Not in this case. I dare say I like these pancakes as much or better than "normal" pancakes. I've added fruit, berries, etc. and my favorite combination was maple bacon and mango chunks. Topped with a low carb syrup (I use choczero maple syrup) and it makes for a tasty, feel good breakfast that will help you hit your macros.5Good flavor, but a little too dense for my tasteI found this mix to have good flavor, but the consistency was a little too dense for my taste. I used this mix to make pancakes according to the directions on the package and found the pancakes to be dense and heavy. Also, 12 oz did not last long enough to warrant spending so much on a bag! Overall, fine (but not the best) mix. I don't think I'll be buying this again.3Worth the $$The price is a hard pill to swallow at first...I definitely struggled with pulling the trigger, knowing there was a large chance I wouldn t like them (I m sensitive to artificial flavoring/sweetener); I don t like most diet friendly foods. And, my first round was probably not something I was ready to write home about but it was probably more the sugar free syrup than anything (cutting down on carbs ain t easy). Fast forward a few weeks, and my bag is empty and they are sold out! I ordered the buttermilk as a backup and I m just as pleased! I follow the serving size for mix, but eyeball the water amount and it always turns out great. It s a quick and easy meal topped with some I Can t Believe It s Not Butter, and I m a happy camper. Still struggle with the price, but know I ve paid more in the past for crappy lattes, so I ll find a way to make it work 5Comparable to FlapjackedI tried the regular flavor on a whim, and was very pleased overall.Pros:- Macro breakdown is better than other brands, specifically, higher protein and lower carb than flapjacked.- Sweeter than other brands - I usually add a packet of sweetener, not necessary hereCons:- Dense, not nearly as fluffy- Slightly higher in fat- More expensive than other brandsI will likely keep these around for days when I'm struggling to get all my protein in, as the extra 6 grams per serving (compared to Flapjacked at 24 grams) is rather nice...these always smell like bananas to me - haven't read the ingredients in detail, maybe it's one of the sweeteners? I make them with water only, and eyeball it until it's pancake batter consistency...microwave them in a mug or bowl - so that might exacerbate the denseness? Anyway - they're very good, and a great source of protein.4Macro friendly and tastebud friendlyOne day I noticed my clothes were fitting tightly. I stepped on the scale and screamed. No WAY am I buying new clothes. Enter: a strict diet and exercise journey. These pancakes helped me lose 10lbs and counting. I make them as 2 servings of mini waffles and pop them in the fridge for a 100cal snack, with tons of protein. They taste exactly like normal pancakes to me with amazing macros. After a 13mi spartan race I took down a big stack with lite syrup and berries. It makes you feel like you re cheating but you re not. Thank you Phoros. I would buy in bulk if I could!5easy to make. great taste and nutritional valuesI have been using a different protein pancake's brand for sometimes and although I am pleased with it, I was still curious to try the Phoros' brand because of their great ratio high proteins/low calories.I am giving 4 stars simply because, so far, I used Phoros twice. Before giving 5 stars I want to make sure about it and use it some more times. .I made pancakes once and waffles another time and I have been very pleased with both results. The taste is really good, consistency is nice, they are very easy to make, they are healthy, easy to digest, not sugary ...basically I really like them.The only down side can be the cost. If you want to eat them daily, like in general I do with the other protein pancakes, it might be costly. But of course, you could use half of dose too :)4Absolutely delicious and worth the moneyAs I was mixing it there was a delicious cinnamon smell and everyone around was asking for some. I just added water until I was happy with the consistency and I ended up getting one big pancake and a medium one with one scoop of powder (scooper included) but hey, isn t portion control kind of the theme when eating this kind of food? I put a tablespoon of peanut butter and half of a sliced banana on each one and they were out of this world. I will likely work this into a meal a couple times a week so each pouch should last a few weeks. A little pricey but very worth it in my opinion, especially if you re looking to get a protein-packed meal that is low in fat and with moderate carbs.5Tastes soooo goodIt tastes soooo good I am so surprised. Tastes even better than regular pancakes. It s expensive tho! $20 for only 6 servings.5Wish I had discovered this soonerI have been dieting for a few months now and had been craving pancakes, but never found any that met my macros until this one! I have tried the original and cinnamon roll flavors and they are both great, but the cinnamon is by far my favorite. It has mini chocolate chips in it that make me feel like I am indulging in a sugar cinnamon roll. I pair with walden farms pancake syrup and it makes the best post workout snack. I just wish they were a little bit cheaper so that I can have them more often.5YAY PANCAKES!I love these. I was looking between these Phoros pancakes, and the Kodiak cakes. The Phoros has more protein per serving, so I chose Phoros. They taste great!I feel like it takes more almond milk than the instructions indicate to get the batter to proper consistency. Other than that, they cook up like regular pancakes!5
