Good value. Recommended. Sort of...I wrote a brief review giving the product a 5 star review.. initially. Please read both parts.Pt1.I was cautious about the purchase of these glasses. Thinking they were likely at a discount price because they were (possibly) flimsy and of poor quality. Yet, I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. They are a good value and well worth the price. They come with a thin nylon sleeve for storage and the nylon is also used to clean the glass. It works well. If there is a fault it is in the fact that the storage container would be better if it was a little bit wider. The glasses fit in the nylon container...but it is a relatively tight fit.Pt2On second thought...after using these for a while... the construction materials are very acceptable but they sit crooked during use because they are not even. When I set the glasses on the table it is obvious that they are crooked and one earpiece sets on the table and the other earpiece is 3/8 inch above the table. They work fine but not so comfortable. Apparently lacking quality control.3all that I hoped for - long-lasting, excellent clarity, reading glassesI have been using cheap reading glasses for over 25 years. The cheap non-prescription glasses I bought would not last long, especially at the hinges (which would always come loose, within a week or two).I have been wearing (daily, all day) one pair of these reading glasses for over 3 months. The hinges are still perfect, and the fit of the glasses is still as good as new.Excellent glasses, at an excellent price.5Very good quality for priceI am wearing the glasses to write this review when my eye doctor suggested I buy over the counter readers I went out to our local stores and couldn't find +2.25 anywhere so I looked on Amazon and found these. They come 4 in a box, each in their own bag with a draw string closure. I can put them in my purse without them getting scratched. Also receiving 4 pair, I can keep a pair by all the places I need them and not have to search for them.5Sloppy at the hingeWhen solicited for feedback from the seller I commented that all four pair were "wobbly" at the hinge... I was a bit irritated with having to try to tighten them up... I was told that this was a "design feature"...I was born at night... just not LAST night.The lenses are fine and my wife likes the styling and they were only $20... So I'll use 'em until the arms inevitably fall off and I'll buy another set from someone that doesn't think I'm an idiot.1Buyer Beware!!These glasses are thin and flimsy, and fall off your face when bending over! And buyer beware, this company deducts a 20% restocking fee if you return them! So much for their Zero-Risk, 100% Guarantee !!!1I can see clearly again!I received these glasses promptly and they actually have exceeded my expectations. I am very rough with my readers because I take them everywhere with me and I'm on the active side. So I hang them on my shirt neck and The spring hinges come in handy for that, keeping them from falling if I bend over. They are also secured comfortably when I wear them. So far, even with yard and house projects that involve dirt, grease, and all sorts of grime, and crawling through my attic, moving equipment, working with tools, etc. I haven 't put any scratches on the lenses. I've had to clean smudges off all the time and the supplier suggests using the individual bags each set comes in to wipe them off. So I'm happy with them. I can see clearly out of them, they fit nice, and it looks like they'll last longer before they wear out from my "abuse"!5They work and are at a power you can't find elsewhereI was playing with my contacts to see if I wanted to have split prescription or be set for near sighted and use readers. I purchased some nice 1.25 from Costco and they were too powerful, but super nice. I purchased these and debated going 0.5 or 1.0 and split the difference for the 0.75. They work great. The cloth case is great, because I can leave in bags or desk and keep them available and yet clean. The design is functional, if not trendy or 100% fashionable.For me, the ability to get them in 1.0 and less was the great selling point. Should I ever need the 1.25, I would likely get the more fashionable Costco and also a set of these. Having them in multiple places and not breaking the bank is the key thing.5OK for the PriceYou can't beat 4 pair of reading glasses for under $20.00. We shall see if they stand the test of time. However, these glasses are not as comfortable as my other (more expensive) reading glasses I ordered from Amazon because they lack a nose-bridge to help the glasses rest comfortably on the bridge of your nose.3Absolutely the BEST reading glasses I have ever purchasedAbsolutely the BEST reading glasses I have ever purchased!I loved them, and they are worth far more than what I paid?This company is awesome and cares about you as their customer!I strongly recommend using them!My Opthalmologist and Optometrist thought they were my progressive bifocals at first because they are so well constructed and look very much more expensive than they were!I almost brought in my older reading glasses, they are so cheap looking, but NOT these!Sincerely,Michael Schroeder5Waste of money!First off, I read all the reviews and felt assured that the statement the company posted about the new and improved reinforced frames made me comfortable enough to try the product. I was originally happy with my purchase... they fit well and nice optics. After trying them the first day the first hour the frames broke at the bridge of the nose. I was disappointed... however, thought I got 4 pair for $20 so I went to the second pair... they only made it 3 days before the frame broke in the very same spot?!? The third pair made it a week before braking and the last pair made it only 3 days before giving up the ghost. The four pair of glasses made it 11 days... just to clarify,these are reading glasses and I only use the glasses while sitting on the couch or at my computer. Stay posted and I will let you know if there resolution.1
