Life-changing productThis is one of the products I will never go without again. I have extremely high arches in my feet, and these soles are the only ones I've ever used that could offer support for extended periods of time. If your feet hurt because of high arches, get a pair of these and that will completely change. I no longer even try on shoes to test whether they fit anymore, because I know I'll throw away the insole it comes with and replace it with these, so all of my shoes are always comfortable. 5Deceptive product descriptionI purchased this product to replace my superfeet green inserts and as I was looking for a less rigid flexible insert. The product description and Customer Question and Answers clearly state the product is a Semi-Rigid insert. Upon receiving the insert, I was surprised as to how stiff this the arch support was. I gave the product a chance to see if it would flex as described. My running shoes are Asics GT2000 which are a wide box shoe giving plenty of room for the arch to bend and flex. However that was not the case. The arch was so hard that It would not move. During my last run, my feet hurt so bad that I took them out half way through my run and walked back barefoot. I ordered the product on July 21st and gave them 2 months to see if these would work. On Sept. 27th I requested a refund explaining the product defective and without even following up, I received an email from Insole stating "Expiration of returns period." Do not buy this product. The descriptions are not accurate and the company does not stand behind their product. 1Lasted multiple deploymentsI have been using the same pair for 5 years now and they are the best insoles I have ever found. I let them form to my feet over a few days rather than using the oven method. I have gone through countless pairs of boots but have been rocking the the same pair of Sole's the whole time. I haven never had an issue with swapping them to a different pair of boots either. 5These are the best footbeds I've usedThese are the best footbeds I've used, after trying many different brands and reading dozens of reviews. Consider this a longterm review; I've been using Sole footbeds for over ten years in trail running shoes, regular running shoes, winter boots, Chuck Taylors, Blundstone boots, cycling shoes, climbing approach shoes, and almost everything else. Different models have different thicknesses of padding; this is mostly relevant so you can fit shoes that have different volume levels. Unfortunately, even the thinnest ones have been too thick (in my experience) to fit into standard dress shoes, or into Doc Martens. But I don't know if any footbed would work in those. In my cycling shoes I've had to cut off the front half of the footbed ... but they stay in place and work well enough.I like the Soles because my feet need a decent amount arch support. If your feet don't, you won't like or need these. If you need tons of arch support, the Soles will likely not be enough in this case you'll be best served by custom orthotics. I haven't found any off-the-shelf footbeds that offer more support than these.The Soles hold up very well. I use them in almost all my shoes. I don't have quite enough to go around, so sometimes I'll pop them out of one pair of shoes and into another. When I get a new pair of Soles, they go into performance shoes (like my running shoes) and the old hand-me-downs from those shoes go to some others where support is less critical. After about 5 or 6 years they're pretty shredded and have earned their retirement.A note on the heat-mouldability: I'm not convinced this accomplishes anything. Maybe if the arch is too high for you, the process will compress. But I'm happy with the arch where it is, so I stopped doing the heat moulding. What makes these footbeds good is their design and materials, not that particular feature. 5Great Product for Support.I have used several pairs of these over the years. I have put this brand of insoles through some pretty rough stuff over the years. They are very durable. If you are wearing a shoe or boot with little to no cushion and walking a lot I don t recommend these. They work best to provide support for your arches in shoes or boots that flex and give a lot. I used a pair of these in Special Forces selection with a pair of Standard Issue Jungle Boots that had no cushion walking on hard terrain and that was a big mistake. These are Great if used them as a support supplement or for just moderate hiking. They do not provide good cushioning for your foot for prolonged activity but they will keep your arches from falling if carrying heavy weight. 5Superfeet work great but the heel area sometimes would give me blistersI have used Superfeet from REI for many years for arch support. Superfeet work great but the heel area sometimes would give me blisters. I decided to try out the Sole brand and have been very happy with the product. The arch support (something I need for an ankle issue I have) are excellent. I bought the Sole supports with the extra padding, its not a super amount of padding but slightly more than the Superfeet ones i had, this works good with some of the shoes i have as it helps my foot fill the shoe better. I have worn the Sole insert for over a year now and picked up another set for another set of shoes, the original I bought is still great. I didn't try out the heat to form feature and they were still great. I may try the heat to form feature with the latest pair I just picked up. I did have to trim the length maybe 1/4 inch to get them to fit my shoes a bit. I bought the 8.5/9 and I normally were a 9. Great product. 5These are GREAT! My son is finally walking without pain.These are for my son and they have greatly improved the health of his feet, hips and back. They state they are heat moldable but the directions are wrong. If you follow their directions you will ruin them. Heat them as described then place them in the shoes after removing the stock insoles, then sit down and put your feet into the shoes for 3 minutes. Slightly roll your feet to the outside to get the orthotic to be posted. If you don't know what that mean look it up online. It is the biggest mistake most custom orthotic makers do. If you stand as the direct you will smash the arch and lose the support. Makes sense right. I have dealt with my sons feet for 10 years and have learned through all the mistakes. I wish you a blessed sole! 5Awesome insoles, bad packaging & QCOk so first off let me say these are the best insoles I have ever worn. Extremely comfortable and that is important to me as a diesel mechanic moving around all say in steel toe leather work boots. Feet don't ever ache and when they do its time to replace them and that after around 1.5-2 years of 10 hour days in the heat and cold. Excellent insoles.Now, on to the bad stuff. So I placed my first order on 10/21 arrived 10/23, happy as I tear open the box at work only to find they sent me two right foot insoles. Not a left and a right. So I immediately reorder and start the cancellation process for the first order, luckily I hadn't sent them back yet. Monday arrives and receive a box at work, yeah it's my insoles. Thank god cause my feet were hurting. I eagerly tear open the box and what do I find. Two Left insoles! And wouldn't you know the first right foot pair was at home. So I cancel the return for the first pair and decide to keep both. I'm mean they'll get used but that's not the point. How about some better packaging and quality control SOLE. Luckily you guys make awesome insoles or we'd be finished. 5A small miracle!I'm not sure if I ever wrote a review for these, but I am on my 6th or 7th pair now (after YEARS of use, they last forever) and they are nothing short of a small miracle.I am overweight so I put a lot of pressure on my feet, and I got a very bad case of plantar fasciitis which is a condition that makes your feet very inflexible and any time you put weight on your feet it feels like someone is sticking a very large needle into your foot. it's almost unbearable pain that makes it next to impossible to walk. I was desperate to find a "cure" because I spend all day on my feet, and after going through several other brands of insoles, these are the only ones that worked!Once I got these insoles, the condition went away within a few days and has never come back since.How much are your feet worth? These are an item I will probably continue to buy for as long as I live! They last for a long time too, I just got fresh ones with new pairs of shoes to break both them and the shoes in at the same time, but I have transferred them to new shoes and that works as well. I did NOT try to heat them in the oven to mold them, but you can do this with these. 5No need for prescription orthoticsDon't bother buying prescription orthotics. The Sole insole does the job incredibly well. I bought the really thick ones and they have lasted for several years. In fact, they outlast my shoes. I just reuse the orthotics, even though my running shoe store says I should replace them, but they work perfectly. I have mildly flat feet and I like a high arch insole that I can feel. I use these in my Brooks gym shoes. I can walk around in my shoes with the Sole insoles for hours with no foot pain. They align my foot perfectly with my calf. I believe my lack of pronation and supination have been helped with the use of Brooks shoes and the Sole inserts. I would buy these again, but apparently I don't need to because they last forever. 5
