You're welcome...5Best black tea for anxiety and elevating mood.I discovered this tea a couple years ago in the grocery store. I'm not sure what made we choose it but I'm glad I did. This is one of the few teas that has a lot of caffeine but doesn't give me anxiety and jitters. It makes me feel a lot better and just more mentally and emotionally stable. It makes me feel happier. Definitely a mood booster. A read that black teas are good for anxiety and depression, so it makes sense but at the same time, no other black tea has had as good of an impact on my health than this one.I am sensitive to caffeine. So I only have 2 tea bags in 14oz of water, and only after I've had breakfast and 2 16ozs of water. This routine is what has been working for me for a couple of years. I don't add anything to it, just the water and tea and let it steep 5-10 minutes. If I do add anything to it, it's just a small amount of honey or true cinnamon powder but I've found that it takes away from elevating mood. I just don't feel the effects as much so it's very rare that I add those in there and when I do, it's always one or the other, not both.I'm also adjusting it steadily. I think I've found a different routine that works even better. New routine:Breakfast and 16oz water16oz waterLunch and 16 oz water16oz waterTeaIt may sound ridiculous having a set routine for how and when to drink caffeine but when you understand how it impacts your health, your entire day and how you generally feel on a day-to-day basis, you understand how important it is to find a routine that works for you and this 100% works for me and if it works for me, maybe it can work for others as well.I do have other teas that I think but this is the core tea that I use to get my daily caffeine.5A Holiday Tradition Served Up Everyday!We initially "discovered" Tazo Chai Tea at a Starbucks on the PA Turnpike going from Lancaster, PA headed towards Bloomington, IL. While we've rarely visited Starbucks for anything, we did that day because it was cold and snowy out and having a warm beverage just felt right. After we got back on the road and started to drink it, we wound up stopping at every Service Plaza that had a Starbucks to a) order another one, and b) find out what I could concerning the ingredients. To my delight I found out that the mix they use for their Chai Tea was made by Tazo...a company I am already a fan of thanks to other teas they carry.The beverage is sweet with spices that give it just a bit of a kick. In the past we have ordered the liquid form of this drink (which is what Starbucks uses) but I found if I just ordered the tea bags and then added our own "creamer", the result is almost an exact match to what we got at Starbucks. As for myself I just add Half & Half but my husband likes to add Coffeemate French Vanilla creamer to his. Better yet, we discovered that buying the tea bags was more cost-effective than the liquid. For more variety, we'll both make a cup of this tea, add our own creamer, let it cool a bit then pour it over ice resulting in an "Iced Chai Tea" beverage that still has the same flavor and little kick the hot version would..Addendum: I read a few reviews about these being "cheap tea bags" and "expired" neither of which was our experience with this product. Our experience as to the quality of the bags is that similar to regular tea bags with the exception that Tazo does not use metal staples to hold the tag to the attached string...they notch the label and attach it to the bag via the notches that hold it in place.5Dull, and Weak, not the Tazo Chai I was familiar with.This is not the chai tea I remember. The Tazo Chai tea I remember is black pepper, cinnamon and ginger spicy. I would put I tea bag in my tea thermos, fill to indication mark with hot water, then 5-10 minutes later I would have a perk-me-up beverage. This product I can leave steeping for twice as long prepared the exact same way and it is dull and boring. Like drinking a 10x used tea bag. And let me tell you, though computer technology has changed in astronomical ways since computers learned to count from 1 to 2, this classic tea tastes exactly the same.The individually wrapped tea bags came in nifty tea boxes with the little perfed part to rip off the bottom, so you can proudly display your tea while it is still in the box! This way, you can get your tea out of the box swiftly, like a hairy and impatient man, yet while displaying the proper labels only your wife cares about. Win win!Most importantly, the box I received was FULL of more boxes!! And inside those boxes were bags of tea! So, while opening the boxes, it felt much like a Russian doll situation, and I found myself smiling and whispering Babushka under my breath.Someone said in a review that I read (and thankfully, ignored) that the tea they received was old and that the tea bags stuck to the wrappers. Mine didn t! Fresh tea for me!You might enjoy reading the above aloud again in the voice of the queen of England after she retires and moves into a little cottage in the forest. And imagine her singing to cartoon animals about this tea, as well. That helps me every time. Well done, Amazon.5Boxes didn't have correct amount of tea bags!I was disappointed in this order because I noticed my supply was going down quite quickly, and then I opened a new box and noticed that it seemed a bit low, and sure enough, when I counted the tea bags out, I only received 15 in what should have been a box of 20. This isn't right. I noticed that although the box appeared to be new, it had been opened and a new piece of tape was put on to close it up. The tea itself was great as usual, just not happy that I got shorted.1Great Tea. Needs Improved Delivery.I have bought this tea numerous times and never had a problem. If this was my first order, I would never order again. Firstly, I received a message the package was attempted delivery . Home at the time as I watched the countdown to my address as I was next. Amazon must fix this since this is not the first time this has happened. As I was about to cancel my order (45 minutes later), I receive a knock at my door. Received the box with a dent on the corner. Happy to get the package as promised.Opening the package, each box was crushed and every seal was broken.Totally unacceptable. If the box was not from Tazo, I would return it.Get it together Amazon. You re amazing but might be to big for your britches. One star for the presentation of all 6 boxes that can t even be stacked.Excellent tea!5
