This is not the Passion Tea you knew and loved.And it is now made with genetically modified ingredients. 1A Holiday Tradition Served Up Everyday!We initially "discovered" Tazo Chai Tea at a Starbucks on the PA Turnpike going from Lancaster, PA headed towards Bloomington, IL. While we've rarely visited Starbucks for anything, we did that day because it was cold and snowy out and having a warm beverage just felt right. After we got back on the road and started to drink it, we wound up stopping at every Service Plaza that had a Starbucks to a) order another one, and b) find out what I could concerning the ingredients. To my delight I found out that the mix they use for their Chai Tea was made by Tazo...a company I am already a fan of thanks to other teas they carry.The beverage is sweet with spices that give it just a bit of a kick. In the past we have ordered the liquid form of this drink (which is what Starbucks uses) but I found if I just ordered the tea bags and then added our own "creamer", the result is almost an exact match to what we got at Starbucks. As for myself I just add Half & Half but my husband likes to add Coffeemate French Vanilla creamer to his. Better yet, we discovered that buying the tea bags was more cost-effective than the liquid. For more variety, we'll both make a cup of this tea, add our own creamer, let it cool a bit then pour it over ice resulting in an "Iced Chai Tea" beverage that still has the same flavor and little kick the hot version would..Addendum: I read a few reviews about these being "cheap tea bags" and "expired" neither of which was our experience with this product. Our experience as to the quality of the bags is that similar to regular tea bags with the exception that Tazo does not use metal staples to hold the tag to the attached string...they notch the label and attach it to the bag via the notches that hold it in place. 5Freshness! Or lack of!I get these at hotels and the aroma is beautifully unbelievable as soon as you open the individual tea bag; but I ordered a box of 6 with 20 tea bags per box; no aroma and bags were stale! I'll toss these in the garbage and buy them one small box at a time at the tea store. I had an extra from the hotel so I opened it to be sure it wasn't me; nope! In the garbage it goes! Pay a little more at a tea store! 1EXPIRED PRODUCT, RETURNS NOT ALLOWEDReceived August 1, 2015. Product best by date was July 3, 2015. 1HoodwinkedGarbage. Stale and loose.No boxes, just bags in a plastic bag. Not only was it years out of date, judging by the taste, it was packaged in the old packaging. This teas is a favorite when it is fresh. 1PERFECT!Was scared to order these because of the reviews saying they were expired. But I check the expiration date first thing and it s not until March 2020!$17 for 120 bags is a STEAL compared to over $2.50 for one order at Starbucks. 100% would buy again! 5Received expired productI ordered a case (six boxes) of this tea in June 2018 and just realized they had expired in Feb of 2018. Not happy as it will take a long time to use this much already expired tea!!!! 1DISGUSTINGAt work they have all different types of tea flavors and orange is my favorite one. I decided to purchase them in a large bulk because I go through them really fast. When the package arrived I was expecting boxes not a big bag full of EXPIRED tea bag. I was so excited to try it out and found moisture inside of them. DONT ORDER AND SAVE YOUR MONEY 1Boxes didn't have correct amount of tea bags!I was disappointed in this order because I noticed my supply was going down quite quickly, and then I opened a new box and noticed that it seemed a bit low, and sure enough, when I counted the tea bags out, I only received 15 in what should have been a box of 20. This isn't right. I noticed that although the box appeared to be new, it had been opened and a new piece of tape was put on to close it up. The tea itself was great as usual, just not happy that I got shorted. 1
