Craving chocolate????Chocolate almond brownie is the way to go! I am in love with these bars! They are high in fiber/protein, low in sugar and gluten free. Out of the MANY healthier bars I have tried these are my fav. It takes away my sugar/chocolate cravings. I feel like I'm cheating from my healthy/clean eating plan when I eat these bars! For those who are wanting a healthier alternative to a chocolate bar then try these! 5I love sweet things so it s been hard to give them ...I love sweet things so it s been hard to give them up. These bars are wonderful! Just enough sweetness to make the cravings go away. They do have a thick texture like most protein bars have but it s not dry. This is our favorite flavor by this brand 5Good Bars - Poor shipping changesI give the bars a 4 star, but said 3 because of packing during shipping. I love these bars as an easy snack, or even as breakfast or lunch on the go. I've had a few flavors and the chocolate is my favorite - some of the others taste a little fake. They are low sugar and low calorie for a good amount of protein. I started ordering them on Amazon because it was a little cheaper than buying in the store, but recently they started shipping them without any packing or ice packs so they melt on the way and melt if left on the porch. They used to come packed in a box with throwaway dry ice packs to keep them cool. I threw the melted bars in the fridge for a few hours before moving them to the pantry and they were okay, but the texture was a little off because of the melting and refreezing. I probably will order one more time to see if that was a one-time thing or a permanent change. 3Impressive protein with bare minimum sugar for a good tasting energy bar.Great protein value with minimal grams of sugar. Taste pretty good for the amount of protein you are getting. Better price than any of the local stores I checked. Does not unsettle my stomach like many protein bars do. Flavors are better than most. Have bought several times. 5Amazon couldn't have packaged it any worse!4 boxes of non-perishable protein bars fit nicely in a small amazon box. But that's not what they did. They created a cooler with "disposable" plastic foam, filled it with 4 sizable frozen gel packets and put it in a HUGE box marked "perishable." OMG the waste! First time ordering food from Amazon. Last time ordering food from Amazon. Feel bad for marking the product 1 star, I like the product, but not like this. Packaging is about as environmentally irresponsible as possible. Photo shows what I ordered in an amazon box it should have come in. The big "cooler," frozen gel packs, and plastic blister bags is what is actually arrived in. For non-perishable granola bars. Seriously? 1For me, the taste was complex but not boldThe problem with a lot of chocolate covered protein bars is that they seem to bloom prematurely. If you don't know it already, when chocolate blooms you get a whitish coloration on the surface that also seems to rob it of flavor. Generally, the reason for this is because the chocolate had been subjected to a heat source in transit that caused the fat to separate out. The contents of the bar itself has a promising taste, more akin to a thin, semi-stiff caramel. But, because the chocolate coating contributed little to the overall flavor, what you get more easily are notes of the chemistry lab, not the confectioners batter. If you need a portable source of protein and fiber at a reasonable calorie level, you may want to try these. Perhaps buy a single bar from your local store first. If you like it, buy the box from Amazon, but just beware that if you see the dreaded chocolate bloom, you may want to return it. 3Expensive to have arrived smashed and meltedFirst, I love this product. It's normally rich and chewy and a great thing to carry in my purse and eat on the go. But this box was delivered in a yellow 'bubble' envelope and arrived smushed and melted, rending it useful only for in-house snacking (unless I wanted to get chocolate flakes all over everything in my vicinity).I had tried to cancel the order an hour after placing it, but unfortunately it didn't work. The product's box (within the envelope) looked like it had been drop-kicked. For the price I paid for these ten little bars, I assumed they'd arrive in at least reasonably good condition, perhaps in a box with an ice pack to protect them from heat and rogue footballers. 1Way too close to expiration date for a whole case!I have ordered these twice, in August & they expire August 31st! I even specified after the first case NOT to send another with this close of an exp date! I will not eat 50 bars in 2 weeks . Shame on you, Amazon! 1Good tasting, better than most for the environmentI ordered two boxes, and one was hard and tasteless, but fortunately I opened bars from the second box and they are fabulous! Different production dates, I guess. Chewy with a bit of texture from the graham crackers, not too sweet and not too many calories. I am a big fan of some Think Thin bars and these are definitely my new favorites. I appreciate that they do not use palm oil -- hard to find products nowadays that don't. The US food industry's demand for palm oil is a major factor in deforestation and it certainly contributes to global climate change and to environmental degradation where it is grown. I hope more companies will seek alternatives and more consumers will demand that they do. 5These totally satisfy cake cravings!If you are a Celiac who craves cake but...1.Don't like to bake (gluten free). 2.Hate waiting for things to thaw. And/or 3.Know that cake is not good for the waistline... then these bars are for you! What can I say? I always want cake and these just satisfy that craving perfectly! I am completely addicted to them!I was never a protein bar person until I tasted these. I'll admit, there is a "protein bar flavor" and a bit of an aftertaste for the first couple of bites, but I stuck with it because the "icing" coating is PERFECT! And after about the 3rd bite I didn't notice the protein bar flavor anymore... It was just good! And with the second bar I really only noticed it on the first bite... They're just yummy! After that, I've never noticed. And they are super convenient to keep on hand while you're out and about so you don't have to worry about having something gluten free to tide you over. 5
