Not right for me!These were too firm and tight for my legs. I ordered the recommended size permthe chart but I m unable to wear them as they cut my circulation off. 1Comfort is everything and these do not fit the bill.I purchased this pair and another pair from another company. These are not very comfortable. They are not true to size...at least for me. They are too tight around the top which causes discomfort. That defeats the purpose I bought them for...to relieve discomfort from varicose veins.updated review (8/3/18): Even though these are not a good fit for me, I would like to share my customer service experience. The customer service representative has been very accomodating and even refunded my account because I was not completely satisfied with this product. If I find an occation and product from this company in the future I will not hesitate to purchase and try again. 5Comfortable Sandal Friendly Calf Compression SocksI ordered the calf compression socks for an elderly neighbor who is on a fixed income. She told me she was borrowing a pair from her husband. She said she wouldn't be able to wear her sandals with the ones from hubby, so I started looking online and found this style that can be worn with sandals. A day after giving my neighbor her gift, she called and told me that she loves her new "sandal" friendly compression socks, and that they are extremely comfortable. I'm a 37 year-old, pregnant stay at home mom, and I really needed a solid fix for the inflamed veins in my right leg. I'm also supplementing nutritionally, but nothing has helped like the stocking. I cannot always make time to elevate my feet or go for a brisk walk, so these were my answer for an easy/reliable daily solution. I ordered a size medium, and they are plenty tight (I'm 5'8" and slender). Tricky to get off and on, especially at first, but you want them like that. Haven't washed yet-plan on hand rinsing and air drying. SO far so good! It fits but the upper part of the sleevE is tight. Tofly were great with their customer service and care about how their product fits. They want you to be comfortable in their compression stockings. They refunded my money and are making adjustments to their product. You see, compression on calves enhances blood return to fhe heart, especially where one way valves on calves are comromised. Presence of Varicose veins is a manifestation of compromised valves. It is in the deep veins of calves where thromboses generally develop, but can travel through the heart and ultimately lodged in pulmary system, causing a PE (pulmonary embolus) which is fatal.
