PERFECT! You can't ask for anything better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I purchased these for my 80 year old mother. She was struggling in getting out of bed quickly enough and was suffering from diarrhea. This led to a couple of very unfortunate and messy situations that needed to be cleaned up. It was awful and I felt just terrible for her. So I did a LOT of research on the subject and found that this particular brand seemed to resolve the situation for others.I live in a different state, so I had these shipped to mom. Let me tell you, she absolutely LOVES these. She has had a few incidents since using them, but they held the entire mess without issue. There were no leaks whatsoever. This makes it so much better for her, I can't even put into words what a relief it is for her to have these. Now she doesn't have to try to run to the bathroom (when you are 80, running anywhere is dangerous and unsafe). These are also very easy to remove if a situation occurs where you soil them. You can either pull them down, much like underwear, or you can simply tear the sides of the diaper so that you don't have to pull it down by your legs. This is wonderful.I can't recommend these highly enough. What a blessing that someone has made such a fantastic diaper and that it is at a reasonable price that is affordable. Thank you Tranquility Premium! I am so happy that mom has some peace now . 5Reliable and Comfortable Padded UnderwearThese are an excellent product for those with an overactive bladder! They are disposable padded underwear that pull on like regular underpants, but provide the protection of a regular tape-on diaper. They can be easily pulled up and down to use the toilet when you make it in time, unlike a tape-on diaper, but provide great protection for those times when you are unable to make it to the toilet. They hug my body and move with me when I am active. They are quiet and discrete and fit nicely under regular pants or shorts with only a faint bulge when dry. The lining is very soft against the skin, much softer than regular cotton underpants in my opinion. I find them very comfortable to wear and I quickly forget I have them on until I need to use them. The padding goes up the front and back, but could be a little higher in front to better protect men. The padding is a bit wider in the crotch than store brand or Depend pull-ups for good protection in the area most likely to leak. The padding does swell as it absorbs leakage, so they will become thicker as they you wear and use them. The leakage is absorbed very quickly and you soon feel nice and dry after an accident. They can be comfortably worn for 4 hours with heavy leakage to all day with lighter leakage. They do a good job controlling odor, so you smell less like urine as you use them. They have leak guards that help prevent urine leakage at the legs and keep formed BMs contained safely inside the underwear. They come in a wide range of sizes to fit kids to large adults. I would recommend them for daytime wear for anyone with heavy leakage who can still make it to the bathroom sometimes. Despite the name, I would not recommend them for nightime wear for most people with heavy leakage due to the lack of side padding and the fact that the padding does not come up high enough in the front or back to fully protect you during sleep. I think most people with heavy leakage would get better protection and less leakage at night with a traditional tape-on diaper like the Tranquility ATN due to the snugger leg fit and more generous front, back and side padding. I use them during the day along with medication to keep me secure and protected from accidents. Overall, a great product for those who need reliable and very comfortable daytime protection from leaks. 5Peace of MindAs the product description says, they're very helpful for air plane flights and other times when access to a rest room is not within your reach or, in my case, power to hold.These are very easy to use, just pull up and pull down. They allow for regular use of the restroom, but if a situation arises, they are absorbent enough to handle a typical wetting and I've usekd them for two or three.I've found them to be very comfortable and to hold up to every activity I do such as running, biking and kick boxing. I havnt found them to be overly visible either. Even under gym shorts, they are thin enough that I don't notice any difference from regular underwear. If someone else does is up to them.Lastly, these are priced less than comproable products.Update: After using these for about 3 weeks now, I did experience a leak thru. Ironically, this happened during a 2 hr flight. I ended up wetting a second time before o could get off of the plane. If I hadn't been sitting for so long I probably would have been ok, but the absorbent pad had gotten compressed. I did have a cover on so damage was limited to two small spots on my bottom, but I'm disappointed that it didn't hold, especially since they are considered for overnight use. I changed my rating to 4 stars. I'll still use these, but I'm finding that they have some limitations for me. 4Better Than DependsAfter using Depends for nearly 10 years, I decided to try other products to see if leakage could be stopped better. I was amazed at the number of products that are superior to Depends in leakage control, absorbency and comfort. It is clear that Depends market dominance is due purely to the advertising money available from Kimberly-Clark. Additionally, my final choice was actually cheaper than Depends not only in price per diaper, but also because I could use half the number of diapers than with Depends.Do the trial yourself. Buy a small quantity of the following brands, on Amazon (they all have high ratings):- TENA for Women Heavy Super Plus Absorbency Protection Underwear (buy one size up from what you normally do with Depends - they run small)- MoliCare Mobile Underwear (these are the most expensive, but their bulk package brings the price way down)- Tranquility Premium OverNight Pull-On Diapers (a little bulky, but they are designed for "overnight" as the package states)My favorites were the Tena (my final choice) and the Molicare. I feel badly about abandoning Depends after so many years, but the difference is remarkable. I guess that Kimberly-Clark just decided to milk the Depend product and not invest in the apparent advances in the diaper industry. 5I can't recommend Tranquility.I'm 75 and wear a diaper to bed so I don't have to get up 5-6 times in the middle of the night to pee. I normally wear Abena (no leak) but wanted to try this less expensive and slimmer one. Tranquility leaked on me at night. The pad is very thin - about less than half the thickness of Abena. I can't recommend Tranquility. 1A good night's sleep for both patient and caregiver!My 90 year old mother sufferred a severe stroke a year ago leaving her paralized on her left side and with short term memory issues and some comfusion. We brought her home to live with us before christmas, 9 months ago. My daughter and I share her 24 hour care. One of the difficulties is that when we would wake her up to take her to the toilet during the night she was unable to separate her dreams from reality creating a dangerous situation to have her up during the night. But all other adult diapers were unable to keep her pajamas or bedding dry all night. We were washing all the bedding every day. But these pull ups have amazed us! Even after 11 hours her pjs and bedding stay dry! A real miracle! She reports that they are comfortable. She does feel the wettness on the inside of the diaper but the fact that they have kept her clothes and bedding dry is remarkable. If you need a pull up adult diaper that will go the distance for overnight or a long trip then do try these amazing pullups. It also gives her much needed confidence when we take her out since she can relax knowing she will not leak through. We tried the version with the side tabs but find these difficult to get on unless she is lying down. (once you apply a tape you can't pull it up to readjust the fit without ripping the diaper) If you have someone who is totaly bed-ridden then they might be good for you. But for anyone who is getting up and down even with assistance like my mom, the pullup style is the best. Not enough stars for this rating! we have been using these now for over 8 months. We absolutely can not imagine being without these. 512 hour diapers by TranqualityI am about to place another order of these now. You never know you are wet while wearing these. My husband is my only care giver and he & I are both 70 years old. I have worn depends ever since my stroke in 2001. We have downsized our living arrangements so I can be eligible for Medicare and go to a nursing home before one or both of us get hurt trying to transfer to & from the TOLIET seat. My Husband has a bad back, and I have bad knees ,Hip and back. I bought these several months ago but never really tried them much I wore MABE one pair just to see how they felt and worked. They are very soft, a little thick but not so much that they are uncomfortable. Since we down sized my new living quarters does not have room for a grab bar to hold onto while my husband pulls every thing up for me. Now I have to stand on one leg try to balance and help him pull them up with one hand . We have both almost fallen on more than 1 Occusion, I am now wearing these from the time I het up until I go to bed. That way we are cutting out my noon and dinner time bathroom trips and it has been a real relief for both of us. I only have 2 left. So I Am looking FOWARD to my 2 day shipping I have with Amaon Prime.. What a wonderful program. I reccomend it to everyone. 5These worked perfect for himI bought these for my grandfather who was having trouble with the incontinence briefs he used to use. These worked perfect for him. He does a lot of yard work, and after his battle with prostate cancer, he developed trouble holding his urine in. Often times his issue with incontinence interrupted his yard work, or caused him embarrassing leaks in public. He is now battling cancer for a second time, and the briefs he used before are not as effective as they used to be. These are great for him because he can go about his daily tasks and run errands without having to worry about finding the nearest bathroom or having briefs that are not sufficiently absorbing urine. He told me they are working well, and he has not experienced any leaks. He used to use Depend Real Fit for Men. These are definitely better because they hold more fluid. I recommend these to any individuals who find that their incontinence briefs are not holding enough fluid, or who may be unable to access a restroom most of the day due to work. With these briefs, my grandfather has gained the freedom and confidence he deserves. 5Most leak-free of the overnight products I trialed, where large volume retention neededExpensive, but this turned out to be the best product for a person like me who is still vertical (walking, standing, or sitting at a desk, and getting up at night to pee), whose legs and ankles store up water during the day and excrete it at night and who needs a large volume of liquid to be captured without leaking down the legs when I would get up to go to the toilet.. I didn't have these for prior surgeries when I was attached to an IV drip, but think they would have been a huge relief for the hospital supplied nappies that couldn't keep up with my urine production when I lay down for naps or tried to sleep. This product seems to be substantially similar to the also recommended Liv-Dry overnight product which has good leak protection, but holds about 1/4 less liquid. In my experience, neither uses the back absorption well, but that is probably because I am a side sleeper rather than a back sleeper. It would have been wonderful if Solimo's overnight product had measured up, but it didn't. It is basically similar to the Prevail Perfect fit product that also has side leakage problems.. Neither the Solimo nor the Prevail Perfect works any better than the depends. A warning to small users: I did get leakage prevention when trialed the Solimo small/medium size, though I found them uncomfortably tight. But I am a large woman who wears 18W pants. If I can use the the Solimo and Prevail small/medium products, how could they possibly fit normal sized women, much less petite women. I would really like to go with the Solimo products, but first Amazon needs to get its sizing in order. 5Works as advertisedI have searched for awhile to find and overnight disposable brief that did not fasten at the sides like a diaper. When I ordered these, I was a bit doubtful that they would contain enough liquid to keep dad dry through the night. His daytime depends would leave him sleeping in literally a cup of urine by morning. Well, he has used these for almost a week now and has woken up with a dry bed each morning! Not only that, it has stopped him from stripping his pants off during the night. No more wet bed or wet floors! I only wish they were a bit cheaper, as they are just under $20 for a pack of 18, once taxes and any shipping charges are added...not so great for people on fixed incomes. 5
