EXCELLENT PRODUCT FOR THOSE WITH PAIN AND/OR TO REDUCE POSSIBLE INJURYI have severe knee pain that prevents me from standing more than ten minutes let alone walking any distance. These knee braces are the complete answer and I would pay double for them they are that good.First, the straps are wide which provides greater amount of compression in the most painful areas of your knees. This important because you need the ability to provide the maximum pressure to the most painful areas of your knees.Second, the box showing the straps crisscrossing and end up attaching to a fuzzy pad at the top. If that works for you great. However, I have gained far greater support and pain relief by placing my right strap around the left side and middle of the knee and the left straps around the right side and middle of my knee. They do not end up at the top of braces and stay in place because velcro straps will attach to any part of the sleeve. COMPRESSION TO THE RIGHT PLACES IS THE KEY TO REDUCING AND EVEN ELIMINATING PAIN WITH THESE BRACES.Finally, it is made of a breathable fabric which provides comfort and venting of sweat. I handwash them with a bit of dish soap. 5Good for the money spentThis brace tends to slide down a little but it does offer good miniscus support. It feels slightly awkward when it slides after you start running but you get used to it. I was very pleased with this brace when hiking or hunting in steep mountain terrain. If you are looking for a bargain deal that offers good support without breaking the bank then this is it! 4So cheap and so worth it!The only con to this product is it only lasted a few months, however, that s a few months of daily wear while working construction. So really, I don t know that the quality is subpar. I think the conditions are just that rough. My fianc works every single day remodeling homes. He is constantly on his knees, getting up and down, etc. He s had some pretty severe knee pain for a while, but braces seem to help a lot. We have tried many different kinds. Some are okay, some are terrible. This one has been the best! The placement of the adjustable straps gives so much relief for him. I just ordered a second one because the area where the straps meet at the top came apart. For the price, lasting only a couple/few months is totally worth it. Again, the conditions he puts this brace in are rough so for another person using it maybe just during sports or exercise, I bet it would last a very long time. You won t be disappointed with this! Oh, there is an odd smell at first but it goes away quickly...Update 2/2019We are ordering our third one. They seem to last him about three months or so. The one we bought in December is still working well but stretching a bit. I just want to get another few now to have ready because it seems fairly accurate to get about three months use out of them for him. We throw it in the wash periodically and it holds up to that and also helps to tighten it a little after it goes through the dryer. Again, for the price I have zero issue ordering a new one every few months. I m just going to keep a supply of extras on hand. This brace provides a lot of comfort for him. Using the washer and dryer may also make them wear out faster but we don t mind. He sweats a lot and wears them daily so washing is necessary. 5Mostly perfect.....As far as what I was looking for in knee support/pain management, this is PERFECT. I drive a lot and my right knee at this point cannot go without a brace on long car trips.BUT holy hand grenades, the velcro is ABSURD. My mother was thinking of getting one of these for when she works out, but when she tried it on, she had to shout for my sister to take it off, as the velcro was way too strong for her to undo it herself (she has arthritis). I don't have arthritis, and I also find this kind of a problem. The velcro at the end of the straps is so strong, it has actually torn completely off one of the straps, and I haven't been wearing this brace for that long.Overall I like it very much, but the issue with a velcro gets this item 4 stars instead of 5. 4Light support and easy to move around in.Pretty comfy so far. They run really small, so at 160 lbs, I bought the XXL and they fit. I could have even done the XXXL and wrapped them smaller. They had a faint smell of newness, but nothing objectionable. Putting them back into the bag was a little challenge, but as you see, I did it. They are light weight, breathable and easy to move around in. I ll be using for sports. 5Knee bracesAm extremely happy with the style of this knee brace. If you wear compression knee braces you know they tend to slide or roll down. These have the cross strap which gives me extra support and stops the downward movements as I walk . 5Knee Braces seemed to helpI have arthritic knees but i need to to do a lot of stair climbing, leaf blowing, and shopping which causes me pain, so I decided to try these. I'm glad I did because they seem to help. I had a few issues,1. There were no instructions, suggestions, or washing advice.2. Wrapping the bands as shown in the images on the Amazon Post made it too tight and cut off my circulation. But the velcro adheres anywhere and I was able to tighten the bands to my comfort level.3. One of the brace rolled a little and the other bunched up a bit BUT for the most part they stayed in place.Also, one reviewer mentioned that she thought there would be a problem when washing them, because they are machine washable, but I think if you fold down the velcro so it hooks to the elastic band, and put them in a lingerie bag when washing you shouldn't have a problem. 5excellent knee sleeveLove this knee sleeve and plan to get another one. Had 2 partial meniscus tears & had stem cell therapy for it instead of surgery. Had to wear a special brace for almost a year and since I am supposed to start strengthening I needed something to stabilize the knee. This brace moves with me in all of my activities, even when working in the garden, does not slip off or move, there is no binding, and it is wonderful for the support I need. Highly recommend it , and I am a retired Physical Therapist. 5Poorly thought out constructionWhen first slipped on the sleeve feels nice. Then I wrapped the straps as shown on the picture and secured to the one small piece of Velcro. That Velcro is not big enough to fasten both ends of the straps without overlapping which then snagged on my shorts. With that configuration, support and comfort was lacking. I jumped on an elliptical and the straps promptly pulled the sleeve down off the thigh. I decided to wrap the straps in a manner that felt supportive to me and stuck the Velcro to the knit sleeve. Big Mistake! The knit sleeve was destroyed by the Velcro on the first removal causing runs and rips in the sleeve. Then upon removal the straps dangled and again attached themselves to the sleeve. The Velcro again caused large snags which this time created holes in the sleeve. 1Brace gives some support. Unfortunately does roll.The description of this knee support says it doesn't roll. This is one of the reasons I bought this Knee Brace, Compression Knee Sleeve with Adjustable Strap for Pain Relief, Meniscus Tear, Arthritis, ACL, MCL, Quick Recovery - Knee Support for Running, Basketball, CrossFit by Vitoki (Single) Unfortunately, the brace does roll when I wear it. One of the velcro tabs broke off the first time I put this on leaving me to tuck the end in the opposite strap. The brace did not give me the support that I am looking for with OA, and arthroscopic surgery for a meniscus tear. I hope this brace works better for other people than it did for me. 3
