Caused serious injury requiring hospitalization!Product is dangerous. My father uses a walker but has never before fallen. Slick bottom surface caused him to fall. He has been in hospital 3 days and will need skilled nursing rehab to recover from the injury. Item has no traction whatsoever, just a smooth polished-like surface on area touching the ground.1Obviously not for outside use.Not made for outside use and that's all I use my walker for. I don't need my walker in the house (small house & I don't move around a lot in the house). I only use it when I go shopping and I have to walk to the bus stop and from the bus stop into the store. I don't use my walker in the store, I use one of their little electric carts. Therein lies the rub, literally. The side walks and roads and parking lots eat these coasters alive. I'm on my third pair in less than 2 months. I keep buying them only because all the coasters out there are made with the same plastic that doesn't stand up to anything but inside floors (linoleum, tile, hardwood, carpet) and these are the cheapest price I've found.2Roll wellThey roll on the ground well, but they re louder than the standard ends that come on my walker. I can t compare them to the tennis ball ones because I never used them after reading the horrible reviews on here. They are more slippery than the regular ends so use caution when getting up (you should not put all of your weight on your walker when getting up).4Be careful.During my recent knee replacement surgery I managed to wear out the coasters on the bottom of the walker and needed replacements. I bought these because they were a fun color. The were easy to install. BUT, they are slippery. When walking at an indoor mall I felt very unstable with the walker not really gripping the floor. Hopefully I won't need to use the walker again, but if I do I will replace it with rubberized tips.3LOVE THESE, they work!I got these for my walker after trying tennis balls and ski glides. I needed these so that I could use the walker inside and outside the house. These were the BEST ones I found that were durable to a good degree, didn't come off the leg and didn't get caught on rugs and door lips.I love the durability of these. I replace them every couple of months but that's because I use them extensively on road and sidewalk pavements. With the way I use my walker, the white part gets worn down on the bottom. If I only used them inside my home, I suspect they would last forever and after using them for about a year, I have not noticed any wear and tear on my laminate inside my house.They are easy to put on and take off the walker. I can change them out in seconds.On the CON side, I have gotten grass caught in between the two parts when walking across grass and they have gotten caught on one type of door mat. The kind is the type usually inside store doors and have the thin rubber border around the rug portion. The rubber portion slips inside between the yellow and white sections. See the attached photo for an idea of the type of rug I have had problems with.LOVE these for my walker and am ordering more now!4Good alternative, especially for outside useGot tired of replacing tennis balls that wear out quickly when used outside, and having my wife snag back of walker on throw rugs when using skis. These things glide over everything, go on easily and feel very secure from the get go.5DisappointedMake sure you measure the diameter of your walker legs. I have one larger walker that's used outside and wanted these for that one but they wouldn't fit. So I put them on the standard walker. They were easy to put on but they were noisy. They didn't glide any better, actually it seemed worse - they were just dragging. I certainly could see no functional advantage over tennis balls. Within 24 hrs I switched them out for the tennis balls again. I was hoping for something that would glide and last longer than tennis balls.2Walker Coasters, Tennis Ball Yellow, Set of 2These walker coasters are a god-send! My elderly mother and aunt both use walkers and discovered that the original rubber pieces on the walker would not glide over all surfaces, especially outside. Found these bright yellow Walker Coasters and placed them on the two walkers. Now the ladies are moving around quite quickly as these coasters literally glide across just about everything and anything. I very highly recommend this product to anyone and any facility that uses walkers (as pictured on this seller's ad).5The search has ended!So we recently relocated to a house with beautiful hardwood floors, no laminate here. My elderly father lives with us and uses a walker to get around. Upon moving, I provided tennis ball style walker caps for him in hopes that he wouldnt destroy our floors. After several weeks of kicking and screaming, he convinced me his nylon skis are so smooth, they would do no harm to the expensive hardwoods. WRONG! After two weeks I awoke one morning to find a trail of pretty deep scratches on the floor. They followed his typical morning path of coffee-TV. I pointed this out and began the search for a new cap for his walker.It seems that for some reason, the entire walker community is anti tennis ball. Not sure why, they didnt scratch the floor at all. My father stated they do pull a little when on a carpet (we have an area rug in his bedroom and his living room). In my search, I came across these. Now granted I wish that they were not "tennis ball yellow". I am certain if I showed my father the package, he would dismiss them at once because of the mention of the word "tennis ball". Aside from that, my floors have let out a sigh of relief. They really do work. THe cost is low so that dont mind having a few spare pairs around.As for outside use, I cannot speak to that. Dad has an inside walker, a garage to get to the car walker and a get out of the car and go places walker. All with different caps.Bottom line is these are a great value if you have hardwoods and work as stated. Just please change the name of the color or add some options so that we can maintain stylish walker tips!4Great idea!I love these but I can't use them because I can't get the original coasters off my walker and they won't fit over them. I think they would work great and am very disappointed that I could not get them to work.5
