INITIAL review: Look like blueberries to me...INITIAL review: May 3, 2016. I've never tried a blueberry supplement before, but I love blueberries and grow them in my yard. Looking for a quick way to get my nutrients in, since I'm in school, and haven't had time to really grocery shop. Received my package today and it was in good condition. None of the gels were sticking together, no broken seals, or dents on the box. Opened it up, cut one open, and checked out it's contents. They look and smell like blueberries to me. Sweet and seedy. Took a couple, and will review again after some time has gone by for a full assessment.UPDATE May 28, 2016. I actually noticed a difference in my physiology while taking these supplements. I forgot to take it for almost a week and noticed a difference cognitively. They are now a great addition to my supplement regimen, and I also bought a bottle for my mother as well. I'm not saying they are addicting, because I literally forgot, and wondered what was different. They are very helpful, and I haven't noticed any side effects yet, neither has my mother. Great product all around. Will buy again, and will definitely keep eye out for any packaging, formula, or other changes that some companies make after a product has been in the market for a while. 5Thank you for providing me with this wonderful alternative to fresh blueberriesI only love human beings, so I never 'love' products, hence the 4 stars - (5 stars for excellence). I have 12 organic blueberry bushes and there is nothing like a fresh blueberry (or freshly frozen one). However, since I am now 80 years old and no longer able to pick as many as I did to freeze for year-round consumption, I have tried this blueberry concentrate and am amazed how easy it is to just pop one into my mouth and know I'm getting all the benefits of my own orchard ones. My neighbors tend my orchard now and my beloved blueberries are still enjoyed by them. They do pick some for me but I can no longer manipulate the spreading, freezing, vacuum packing, etc., and would not ask my neighbors to do this for me. So, thank you, Sports Research, for your excellent product to supplement my love of blueberries. 4Highly recommended for anyone with age related memory/concentration issues.Of pill all the I have tried, I must say that Wild Blueberry Concentrate works and with a noticeable difference within a few days. After finishing my bottle of Wild Blueberry, I switched to 500mg of Omega 3 and DHA. Within a few weeks that I was forgetting words again and having difficulty concentrating. Needless to say, I am back on this product. I highly recommend Wild Blueberry Concentrate for anyone with age related memory/concentration issues. 5Cleared up my chronic acne beautifully...and FASTI have been using the Blueberry Concentrate for the past two months. Besides destroying harmful free radicals, anti-oxidants such as blueberries fight inflammation. I also use SR s Tart Cherry and C3 Complex Tumeric Curcumin for this purpose. Although I love eating whole blueberries, when they re not in season their price is high and of course, to get the maximum value from fresh berries you have to eat a ton of them and that means a lot of sugar which is itself generally regarded as pro-inflammatory. SR Blueberry Concentrate does not contain the sugar.SR products are the Real Deal 3rd Party Tested, non-GMO, organic, and prepared with wholesome carriers such as organic EVO or coconut oil which enhance the absorption of fat-solvable vitamins and herbs. Other brands may be less expensive, but you get what you pay for. SR also has a habit of randomly including a promo cards for a free product in some of their products, so the more SR products you use, the more you will save. But if you work hard, play hard and go at life full throttle, more of certain vital nutrients such as antioxidants will probably increase your chances of a healthier and longer life. And if you re going to supplement, spend what you have to to get the best. I consider several dozen supplements a part of my weekly food shopping expenses. I use groups of supplements, each targeting a different goal muscle building, cognitive health, anti-aging, inflammation and pain, mood, etc. Antioxidants hit all of these targets, directly or indirectly. As for berries, I especially believe in combining Blueberry concentrates with elderberries. The two berries are related and I believe there is a complimentary effect when both are taken together. To add a few of the more exotic berries, I also recommend Life Extension s Enhanced Berry Complete which is very reasonably priced. 5I've always had low HDL cholesterol (+/- 32). My ...I've always had low HDL cholesterol (+/- 32). My total cholesterol was starting to get high - 190 range. I began taking Red Yeast Rice as suggested by my PCP, and that got my total cholesterol down to 139 (and 100% of the reduction was LDL). I then added the Wild Blueberry Concentrate, and my HDL went from 32 to 43 (and total cholesterol to 150). I did add some cardio a few times a week so I can't say for sure that 100% of the HDL increase was the Blueberry Concentrate alone. However in the past I've never been able to increase HDL with exercise alone. 5A good supplement!I am a firm believer in supplements - if they are a quality product and after using a bottle seem to have improved some aspect of my well-being. I have purchased an additional bottle from Sports Research and intend to continue to do so. Cognitive health is so important (I'm 65), and this actually seems to have helped me. After watching my father sink into dementia, I'm hoping to start early to keep my brain cells working - and this product is good. 5No more floaters!I got these to add to my bilberry supplement for eye health and they are amazing! Once I added this supplement to my regimen the floaters I was experiencing literally vanished! I love the fact that they are organic and simply fruit and nothing more. I personally do not care for blueberries and this gives me a way to enjoy the fantastic nutritional benefits without having to eat them. 5My saving graceI get terrible arthritis in my hands at night from the Olympic lifting we do in Crossfit and this little pill is quite literally my saving grace. Without it I would be awake every night in terrible pain. I KNOW this helps because when I forget to take it just one day, the pain returns. You will not regret purchasing these! 5Great on A1c levelI have been taking this Supplement twice a day for the last two months. It has helped me lose 10 lbs. I just had my blood profile done and I was amazed. My Triglycerides came down from 159 to 107, my LDL went from 78 to 68, my total cholesterol went from 137 to 116 and the best was that my A1c went from 6.4 to 5.3. I was hoping to increase my HDL but it stayed at 27. I have not added any exercise so that is my next step. I am hooked. 5
