Work great on a child's finger to protect the nail bed!I have been prodded several times by my 8 year old to review these for all the people to know how great these are! For children's fingers! He gets a kick out of them being called ZenToes but he wears them on his fingers. I read the reviews before buying and SO many people said they were too small for their toes :( and gave approximate measurements. I decided they would be perfect for our use. My 8 year old smashed his finger in the door and a few weeks ago finally lost his nail. The nail bed has healed but he wants to wear 3 bandaids at all times for swimming and sports because he worries about his finger getting further damaged and the nail not ever growing in, also once it starts to grow we don't want it to get snagged. I was going through SO many bandaids. Then I found these. I cut off about 1/2" long section and slide it over his nail area and he is good to go- so happy! We only swap for bandaids now for sports. This is going to help our long wait of 9 months to grow that nail back and will protect the nail bed and the surrounding skin from further damage or constant bandaging. I cannot imagine how this product would fit on anyone's toes. I am a small woman and I could get them on my pinky and second smallest toes I am sure. Even my son said when I cut the piece a full inch long that it was squeezing his joint too much. If they fit, the are great!! 5Great, great, great for my hammer toe.A couple of years ago I had a hammer toe pop up. Ugh! The mid joint that sticks up was starting to turn reddish probably because of the rubbing on the shoes. I was concerned since I am an insulin-controlled diabetic. One podiatrist said surgery, which I really want to avert as much as possible. Two other doctors told me to use corn pads placed on that joint to protect it. The problem with corn pads is that my grandmother used them and I associate it with old, frail people. I know that's a personal problem but there it is. The other thing is that a corn pad on that area would be very awkward and probably fall off during a lot of walking. These toe tubes were perfect, perfect, perfect. I can cut them to just the right length. They're comfortable enough where I don't even feel them under my socks and even during my hikes. I am wearing them throughout the entire waking day. I do remove them at night. These are the perfect size for that particular toe. I check to make sure the circulation is not affected. They're easy to wash and reuse. The reddening joint is doing much better now. Thanks toe tubes. 5Finally - a solution!I have a cross-over toe that sits atop its neighbor. Needless to say this makes wearing a shoe on that foot painful. I have tried many products but none have worked for me. This product has done the trick! They provide a cushioning effect and stay in place. They are a little tight and a bit of a struggle to get on, but for me worth the effort. Washable and reusable. Addendum: I no longer struggle to put these on. Once I have cut the tube to the size I want, I fold it almost in half by rolling the bottom portion up on itself, so the inner liner is showing. Slip this over the tip of your toe and simply roll the rest back down, covering the rest of your toe. When removing it, again roll the bottom up on itself and slip the folded tubing off your toe. 5Great productI discovered these little toe tubes a while back and just love them. I always have trouble on one foot with a corn between my little toe and the next one. Now I can just cut a small piece of the tube and slide it on my toe -- it works so much better than the corn pads you find in the stores. Now I don't have to use corn removers because I don't get the corns anymore. I know you can wash them and reuse them but I feel only one extra time is about all it will take. Even if it was only one time I would still buy these. Just love 'em. 5Very good product!I ordered the extra large for a callus on my big toe. While the product is made very well and is extremely helpful in relieving my discomfort, the size I ordered was a little to large. I am able to use it until I receive the next size down. Highly recommend the product. Might be better to order the package with a selection of sizes so that you know exactly which one fits better. The tube is slightly stretchy which is a good thing. The gel inside makes the protective tube very comfortable. The color of the product blends with one's skin color enough that sandals or open toe shoes can be worn without embarrassment. Once you find the perfect fit it is a good idea to order a supply of the tubes because they do get dirty and a little stretched out in time and you will need to change to a fresh one. 4YOU ARE ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS!!This is an amazing company. They followed up with me after I made one single purchase from them, I told them that their product did not work out for me, not at all due to any fault of their product, but solely because it just wasn't the right thing for us to use. Thank you ZenToes!! 5These should do the trick for avoiding blistersI believe these will do the trick for avoiding blisters; BUT, I found the 3/4" Medium size to be far larger than I need.... they very easily fit my BIG toe, and are much too sloppy and loose for my other 4 toes. If you have slim/slender feet (I wear a women's size 11.5 Narrow shoe) I would suggest you try the small size first; they DO stretch. Now I've forced to purchase the small ones, too. 4Very ComfortableThese were a bit smaller than I expected - I ordered the medium size and the inside diameter was just over 1/2 inch. However, they do stretch. They are very comfortable to wear and, even with being smaller than I expected, they are able to move during the day. This may mean you have to have the tube cover the entire toe so it does not move away from the area on your toe that is the issue. The only thing that may be a problem is if you have a tender blister or cyst that is being covered; in this case the initial pressure may be uncomfortable. I highly recommend these for preventing pain from toes being rubbed.Update: after more use, I find these are great if you have a growing cyst that is not yet painful. The slight pressure from the toe tube has prevented the cyst from growing and becoming painful. Also very useful for protecting healing sores/cuts on fingers when doing labor; band-aids generally do not survive long when doing labor but these are very durable. Very glad that I have these tubes! 5These work great for hammer toes and also for finger joints that pop which is called Trigger Finger.Just got these today. I have one hammer toe, the 2nd toe and tried several different products. This one works the best. I ordered the 1/2 inch size and it is perfect. I cut off a piece about 3/4 inch and pulled it over the toe all the way to the base of the toe. It no longer is rubbing on my tennis shoes. Directions say they can be washed and to use baby powder if the gel becomes sticky. These should last a good while if they can be reused after washing. Each tube should give me 5-6 separate pieces and since I only have one sore toe it is good!!!Update: 2/9/18 - I have been using these for my hammer toes and they work great. I recently developed a problem with my thumb joint which I think is called Trigger Finger. It is the joint nearest the thumbnail and when I bend it there is this awful popping sound and it hurts. It is worse at night. So I cut enough of the tube to cover that smaller joint. I wore it all last night and when I got up my joint was fine. I am hoping this is tendonitis and will go away but if not will need to see a doctor. In the meantime this tube completely alleviates the pain and popping, 5was not a good option. Because I had been buying shoes that ...I had to do something or face foot surgery which, for me, being a school teacher, was not a good option. Because I had been buying shoes that were too small for my feet, I had developed a corn between two of my toes and the pain was progressively getting worse. My podiatrist recommended toe tubes and better-fitting shoes. The pain is gone and the corn is disappearing. ZenToes has no doubt been a significant part of the improvement because you can cut the tubes to fit your needs and when you slip them on your toes, you can't really feel them. The soft fabric and gel keep the bones of your toes from rubbing together and allows the corn to heal. Thank you, ZenToes, definitely five stars! 5
